Update: I've been using 1 pad every morning. I started a heavy peel on day 4 and as soon as I applied the pad, my skin started to burn. It was very uncomfortable but didn't create any redness. It took about 2 minutes for my face to calm down. The next morning the burning was present but not nearly as bad and it didn't last as long. I also found that the pads don't work well on heavy peel days 😞. I'll limit use to only dry, flakey days. I'm still happy with the product. I use RetinA/Tretinoin .1% for age spots so the skin on my face goes through frequent episodes of heavy peeling & flaking. My skin is borderline sensitive. I've tried several methods of exfoliation & moisturization, but I'm always left with flakey looking/scaly feeling skin. That said, I just passed a heavy peeling stage and my face is covered in tiny, stubborn flakes, and the jar of Tingl exfoliating pads just arrived...great timing 😀 So I ran to the bathroom, washed my face, and gave it a try. I'm VERY happy with the results. 1) The jar arrived in excellent condition. The lid was tightly secured, the jar was not sealed with a waterproof barrier but the pads are very moist; 2) The pads are a little small but sturdy and handled 3 passes of light circular rubbing over my entire face & neck; 3) There's a very light, citrus odor that didn't linger; 4) It took about 2 hours for the sticky feeling to be fully absorbed. The humidity is a little high where I am so maybe it won't take that long in lower humidity; 5) It left my face flake free and feeling hydrated & soft. I have to wait about 5 days to see how it handles the heavy peeling stage and I expect that I'll need to use more than 1 pad. I'm very happy with how smooth & soft my face feels right now, even before using moisturizer. A big bonus is that it is FSA/HSA eligible so it doesn't hurt my budget. ... show more

I'm on my second order because tingl works! I struggle with large pores, but my biggest challenge as I age is sebaceous hyperplasia. It's a common skin condition that happens when your sebaceous oil glands make too much oil. The oil gets trapped under your skin and causes bumps. I've tried almost everything to remove or at least make them smaller, with no luck. Tingle is the only thing that helps keep the bumps small and less noticeable, and it slows the emergence of new bumps. I use it twice a day and have had no problems with dry skin. I am 33 and have had blackheads on my nose since I was a teenager. I’ve tried so many things and wasn’t extremely hopeful about these. I saw results with this within a few days. These clean my face really good, I think but the smell is that of infant spit up (sour milk/formula) and they leave my face feeling tacky or sticky. I don’t think I’ll get them again. The smell makes me sick to my stomach.

The back of my upper legs is bumpy from years of neglect and shaving. I bought these to help with exfoliation of the area. I use one pad 3-4 times a week before moisturizing and I’ve noticed a huge difference in the smoothness of my skin. I generally have pretty sensitive skin and these are fine on my legs. They do burn a little if used immediately after shaving. I have not used these on my face but feel like they might be a bit too much for my cranky skin but they work great for my purposes.
