*Customer Service update* As promised here's my update regarding my experience with Tineco's customer service. Their Customer Service Reps are patient, attentive and very friendly. I've interacted with about 5 or 6 of them and each one of them made the experience pleasant. The best way to contact Tineco is through the chat feature on their website. Emails take on average 24 to 36hrs for a response. Phonecalls are tricky as well. I think some are located overseas so there is the timezone difference to consider when calling and when you do get a live person they recommend the chat. 🟩 The Chat Is very convenient and quick. They emailed me a return shipping label once I supplied proof of purchase, the serial number of the machine, a summation of what happened and pictures of the damage. I shipped back everything they requested and they shipped me a refurbished machine ( their refurbished machine tend to be machines returned though the machine has no defects). I was skeptical but once I received the replacement machine I was satisfied. 🟩Shipping + Cost Tineco provided a shipping label at no cost to me. The replacement was shipped once they received my machine NOT while mine was in transport as stated. Overall it took about 2.5 weeks to return and receive the replacement. 🟩Replacement Machine It functions well so far mechanically and has no noticeable defects, scratches etc. Perfect condition. 🟩Overall Tineco gets an A+ for customer service! They were friendly and helpful. They also checked with me via email and phonecall to make sure the machine met my satisfaction. **Original Review* I like my Tineco. It does exactly what it promises to do. Its light weight & takes up very little space. Its also easy use and clean. I use it on average 2 or 3x a week. I bought this version because it has a ( nice, very long) cord. I like to go over surfaces repeatedly and don't want to feel rushed because of the battery constraints of other models. I purchased this machine as gifts for family and finally bought one for myself Dec. 2023 since my family like their machines. 🔸️Cleaning Pros: This machine maneuvers easily. I love the steam clean feature. It picks up everything leaving my tiled floor sparkling. Its also wonderful on wood floors too. 🔸️Cleaning Cons: My only complaint is that I do have to clean corners by hand. This machine simply cannot reach those areas but there are newer models that can. Again I bought this model because of the cord. Its now Feb. 2025 and unfortunately just when I was about to use it, the base inexplicably just crumbled and the empty Dirty water tank fell off. The machine is still under warranty. I contacted Tineco and so far it seems promising. I will update my review in regards to my repair/ warranty experience once it's concluded.so far the customer service has been very nice. ... show more

    • The Ticket for Hard Floors!!!
Size: iFLOOR 5 Steam
2 weeks into having this, I am very pleased. I was using a Bissell steam mop, which worked as advertised but the vacuum left particles between hardwood slats and it took multiple passes to clean a sticky mess (like dried on sauce/grease/jam). I was greatly displeased with a Dyson v15 with steam so it was returned. This thing is perfect for a house with tile/laminate/sealed hardwood flooring. The rotating brush with steam quickly dissolves the messes and the vacuum picks up everything....dust, dirt, chihuahua fur. The steam evaporates within a few minutes compared to models with only use cool water. It's very easy to clean. This model doesn't have the loop thing and I don't need it. ... show more

    • Great unit, but going back to Shark.

For many people, I can see how this is a 5 star item. I had a Shark Steam Mop before I decided to spoil myself and get the Tineco one when my Shark finally bit the dust. Tineco has a great unit, just not exactly what I was hoping for. I've had this mop for a little over a year now and I'm going back to Shark. People that I think will benefit from this Steam Mop are: - Those that mop very frequently or on a daily basis. - People with kids. - Housekeepers. We have 3 small dogs and my hope was that I could minimize my cleaning time while trying to eliminate sweeping before mopping. While this product does a good job, I still have to sweep before moping and the time to clean the unit afterwards makes the process of cleaning the floors more time consuming now. I can typically get my kitchen, dining room, and hallway done on one tank. Dumping and adding more water for the next room is easy and the self-cleaning after you're finished it great. When it's done, you then empty the contents again and clean it all or else you get a HORRIFIC smell. The choice to go back to Shark is purely because of my time. The ease of removing the mop head on the Shark and tossing it in the laundry just wins in my book, especially considering I'm still sweeping beforehand. ... show more
