This is my first review ever but I feel as though this product needed this review. I purchased these skates in March of 22 because my grandson, age 8 who has been roller skating since the age of 2, had grown out of his fourth pair of skates. I had decided on these because of the size levels and figured we wouldn’t have to purchase new ones for a few years. However to my surprise his foot came completely out of the skate while skating and due to the momentum of him rolling, he was sent to the ground and left with both his arm and knee burned and scraped. I’m not sure if this is a defect in this particular pair or how the product is produced but either way please beware of the possible issue when purchasing. His injuries could have been a lot worse. Now again we have to purchase another pair because 2 days later he says I want to go roller skating. Boys will be boys. LOL!! However please pay attention to see if either skate has been weakened along the front trims to ensure your child’s safety. ... show more
