I tried several cases for my iPad Air and TiMOVO ended up being my favorite. It's sturdy, lightweight and attractive. This is actually my second one and is even better than the previous version in my opinion. The color is toned-down to better match the green iPad and it's even lighter—probably due to removal of the stylus holder. I purchased an inexpensive stylus, but never use it, so no loss for me, but stylus users won't like this change. The case can be sturdily propped up in media viewing or drawing modes. I'll keep durability at 4 stars for now until I've used the case for a while. The previous design did suffer from cracking plastic in a couple of areas after two years of use, but I did drop the iPad a couple times (on carpet, but on it's edge), so that may have been a factor. The most important thing is the iPad was protected and remains damage free.

This case is beautiful. It's a soft powdery blue that matches the sky blue iPad really well. The back plastic is completely clear to show off the iPad in all its glory. There is a good sized lip to protect the back camera. The folding cover is made of a soft material that feels really nice to touch. The sleep/wake function works perfectly and the power button/touch ID cutout is perfectly sized. Also, the cover extends a little past the front of the iPad, allowing you to easily lift the cover. Some covers are exactly as long as the device, meaning you have to use two hands to open the cover. It's a small touch, but it adds a little bit of extra convenience. This case is slim and lightweight, but maybe not the most protective. I had another folding type case for a different iPad. That one was much heavier, the front cover was much thicker and the back plastic was a rigid rubber which seemed as though it would absorb impact from a fall well. This case is plastic and I'm afraid one hard fall will crack it. I don't like the fact that the right side of the case is almost completely open. I know this is so the Apple pencil can charge. But even if I owned a pencil, I wouldn't want to leave it there all the time. There's no way to protect the pencil or stop it from falling if you drop the iPad or even just bump into something. And when the pencil is not attached, this side is just exposed and begging to be scratched. Lastly, I wish there was a flap or something to secure the cover. It flaps around and gets in my way when I'm holding the iPad open like a book. One last thing to note is that the cover is much more blue in real life. It only looks gray in photos. I'll be keeping this cover because I like it a lot and it was inexpensive. But in the meanwhile, I'll also look for a more protective case. I'm thinking of either Moko or ESR.

I bought the sky blue case. Color is fine, powder blue, but back is completely clear, not color matched as advertised. Inside cover is not flocked or microfiber, just a slightly softer side of the cheap and light plastic. Clear back looks cheap and unlikely to protect iPad against anything except scratches. Returning. Just cheap and disappointing. Update: customer service is really good. They refunded the purchase, offered a replacement, and are working to update product photos so they’re accurate. Added a star.
