    • Using paint tinted resin is a guessing game
Okay, so overall, I really like these molds. I did a test round with resin colored with mica powder, and resin colored with paint. The mica powder version turned out fine. However, with the way the molds are set up, when you pour the resin, you’re looking at the bottom of the coaster. So for my paint version (I like to make faux marble effects), I was really only able to see what the bottom of the coaster was going to look like, and could only really adjust the design based on what I was seeing on the bottom. So it was a complete surprise to demold the coaster and see what the actual top looked like. That’s my only complaint. If you’re working with opaque tinted resin, it’s kind of a guessing game as to what you’re coaster will turn out like, but transparent tinted resin turned out fine. My only other minor complaint is that the bottom edges felt a little sharp for my liking, so I’d probably have to sand them down before feeling comfortable selling them. ... show more

Awesome product. Durable and easy to remove the hardened resin without damaging the mold. I only wish I could have bought 8 square molds but I couldn't find them.

Not only did these not hold their shape but it took three pours before I realized that the squiggly lines I was getting down one side was because the mols were flawed. I was so angry I wasted time and product I threw it in the trash. I should have reequested a refund.

Unfortunately the molds had swirls/scratches on them which transferred onto my coasters. Very disappointing since I spend a lot of time making these just to have them unusable. The coasters look used and marked up as if they’re not freshly made. Won’t be buying again.

    • Wish they were a little stiffer
These work fine for what I need them for but I find that they are a little TOO flexible, my molds occasionally come out warped and tilted so i have to really make sure they are flat and perfect while they are curing.

I have been making coasters and decided to get these molds so that I can make even more. All of my coasters are now stuck in the molds. I will definitely be returning these with the resin still stuck in them since I have tried everything possible to get them out without tearing them. These are trash! Don’t buy them. ... show more
