Watches aren't a new invention, so they should last many years. In my experience with Timex, I'm somewhat disappointed. But it is a nice smaller watch for those of us with wrists that match.

This is a beautiful simple watch! I was looking for a reasonably priced watch with a clean face and watch case and I have found it. The nylon watch band itself is secure with quality hardware (the buckles and metal loops) and the length is perfect for my wrist size (6.5in). If the length is too long, however, the metal loops are not adjustable. The watch and band is waterproof, but know that the bands will absorb water when wet. If you are new to nylon band watches (like I am), the band is on the bulkier side since the strap has to wrap around itself once, but it's something that I'll get used to. I am not a big fan of the colorful band, so bought replacement 18mm watch bands (grey and black) elsewhere on Amazon. It is easily replaceable with other colors and brands and they look and feel great. Other things to note: In a very quiet room, the ticking is audible if that sort of noise bothers you. The Indiglo (the backlight triggered by pressing the wind button) is nice and even. I do have a small sliver on the bottom that doesn't get illuminated. It is not too noticeable and does not inhibit night-time time reading. This is a wonderful watch and I hope to wear it for years to come. Awesome value for money, my wrists are small so I prefer smaller watches. So, even though I'm a man I bought the women's version. The included band isn't going to fool anyone into thinking it's high quality. So a replacement band will help bring out the beauty of the face. I changed the band to a 12$ or so leather one and it worked wonders. A strap/band a bit more expensive, would be even better. The indiglo doesn't illuminate the face uniformly at the 6 o clock position. ... show more

I just received this cute watch and I just say I love the bright colors! My wrist is small so being able to make the band smaller is perfect! Since I have spring fever, this cute watch caught my eye. Timex watches are always a good buy and I keep my eye out for new styles.

This minimalist design Timex should catch the attention of watch collectors. It has the aesthetic of my Nomos Tangente for a fraction of the cost. The Indiglo light to some watch snobs may be a gimmick, but it’s eminently useful and the best lume on the market. The drilled lugs make band changing a breeze. While this is more elegant than masculine, with a nice quality leather strap this is a worthy piece by Timex for when you wish to put your Nomos, Rolex or Patek in the safe while at the beach or on a trip. This was a good buy, the Nato strap is different for me, perfect for a casual weekend watch. The watch is simple enough that with a leather strap, it can be dressed up a little. I like it much better with a brown leather strap. While the case size is bigger than what I'm used to, it makes it easy to tell the time at a glace. Good purchase all around. ... show more

Loved the watch, hated the band - bought for myself (male), thus didn't like the band, wanted a smaller size than the larger men's size; replaced band with inexpensive 4-pack of striped and black bands, which I love, so the watch looks super sharp now (with 4 different bands to choose from), lights up in the dark, second hand (need for taking pulses - medical worker) - inexpensive nice looking watch ... show more

The watch is just what I was hoping for. I have very small wrists (5 1/4in around) so I was worried that the face of the watch would be too large, but I think it worked out just fine! The sound of the ticking isn't particularly annoying unless I am in a very quiet space with almost no other noise. I assumed that I wouldn't like the band because of the pink stripe, as I am not too keen on pink, but it doesn't bother me at all in person. ... show more
