I bought this watch to replace a similar watch which stopped working after several years of use. I am a nurse, so I need a watch with a second hand when counting pulses and respiratory rates. I also need the water resistant feature because of frequent hand washing. When I previously worked nights I also chose watches with the light-up feature, but I no longer need that feature. The face of the watch is easy to read. The watch is attractive, goes well with all of my clothes and jewelry, and can be worn for both casual and formal occasions. The band is also large enough to fit comfortably on my large wrist. I prefer stretchy bands like this because I can put them on and take them off quickly and easily, they don't make me sweat like leather bands do, and they don't cut into my skin like the Italian link bands do. ... show more

This was almost exactly what I wanted. I wished it had indigo and then it would have been perfect. It is dressy enough for church and casual enough for jeans. The picture is true to colors on my computer.I have a 7.5 inch wrist and it fits just a slight bit snug. It tends to catch the hair on my arm. I just gently lift it to get it into place without grabbing hair. In all fairness I have not worn a watch in two years. It tended to bother me just a bit both by fit and newness, but I liked the look so much that I put up with it a for a couple of weeks, and now, I don't even notice it. If you have a hairy arm or don't like snug fit, then this watch might not work for you. I have noticed that very few watches offer a flex band for larger wrists and there are many of us. 2022 update, I allowed WalMart to change out the battery. I think they did something to the back of my watch and made it no longer water resistant. It quit working shortly after battery change. There are scratches all over the back. It took them 3 people and almost 30 mins total work time, 55 mins while waiting for other people. I loved this watch. I am thinking of purhasing again if I can't find one with indigo lighting. That's important on a dark, inside, cruise ship cabin. ... show more

    • Nice watch if it fits your wrist; band is NOT adjustable
I ordered this watch for my wife as a replacement for her watch that finally quit working. I read all the specifications and reviews but could not get a clear understanding of the band size. One review quoted 5.5" but wasn't clear whether the watch was included or not. Several others stated they were unable to get the band adjusted at their local jewelers. For others, the watch didn't run when received or only ran a short time after they bought it. Some of these buyers said they could not replace the battery. OK., here's the actual facts as I determined them after buying this watch: the circumference of the band plus attached watch is @ 6.5", so measure the buyer's wrist and if it's less than 6.5", this is NOT the watch for them. I've adjusted a lot of watch bands during my lifetime and after examining this watch carefully with a magnifier, concluded that the band is NOT designed to be shortened. It possibly could be shortened with great expertise but that would likely damage the band's appearance to some degree. I don't know what the largest wrist size this watch would fit but it would possibly stretch to fit up to an 8.5" inch wrist but I don't know if it would still be comfortable to wear under that much tension. Regarding battery replacement: Since the watch was too large for my wife's 5.5" wrist, we returned it for a refund and did not even see if it would run. Nonetheless, I examined the watch case and noted that it has a small recess that is designed to facilitate removing the back of the watch, so my assumption is that the battery could be accessed and replaced, if needed and a appropriate replacement battery could be found. ... show more

This is the second time I have purchased this watch, I was about to give up on finding it again when it popped up on the page. I was so happy to see it. It keep’s perfect time, easy to wear and it’s very pretty. I should’ve purchased 2 in case I loose this one.

    • Worth the money
The watch is used by a very elderly lady. The face size is perfect for her wrist, it's easy for to read, its pretty and a jewler removed 6 links of the band so it fits perfectly now. She's lovin' it! Hopefully it will last a long time.
