so hard to find a timex and get it adjusted these days. This one solves the problem, tho it is a bit expensive for what you get. Used to pay $40 and have them adjusted, now so much more and have to adjust them myself!

    • Self-adjustable, maybe but it fell apart more than once

I have long relied on Timex for easy-to-read expansion-band wristwatches that can be reduced to fit my 6" or so wrist. Apparently I do not have the skill or understanding to adjust this myself. It falls apart after a few wearings. It has done so two or three times. I give up.

I made this purchase for my mother, and I needed the easy to read feature. The watch appears to be of great quality and its very easy to read. I've had it for a month and my mother wears it everyday. It did require adjusting because it was a little large, but that was easy to do. I would suggest buying it. Oh and it also has a backlit feature, which is great at night. ... show more

I bought this watch to replace a Timex I’ve worn for many years. When looking at product online it’s difficult to know the size since measurements are not given in inches. I guessed at the size and it was wrong. Therefore I am returning the product. Way too large of a face on watch. Couldn’t tell that it was an Indigo which was a feature I wanted. I guess that is why I still prefer shopping in person so I can see size and features. ... show more

Quick to put on and easy to read. This is my first watch with a stretch band. I had to get use to the stretch band as oppose to a band with a overlap snap and lock. Adjusting the band width was very easy with the tool provided. I always had expensive watches but they got too expensive to repair. I could have bought six of these at the price of a repair on one of my watches. This is good enough for me. Can't beat the price. ... show more

I actually purchased this for my elderly mother for the band. She had a similar Timex watch with easy to read face that she liked except she has small wrists and couldn't find a band to fit her. She likes the watch, as it's easy to read, and the band on this watch was easy to adjust as links are easily removed using the included tool (although a nail or small screwdriver would also work). I was able to adjust the band to fit snuggly but not too tight and she is very happy with the watch. Based on the fact her previous Timex watch was the same model and worked for years without a problem, I'm guessing this one will last a long time.
