    • Buckle broke after 1.5 months
The Buckle on the watch broke after 1.5 months, just after the Amazon return window closed. I contacted Timex and they said the strap/buckle is not covered under their warranty. They directed me to purchase a new strap for $30, which is 75% of the cost paid. Disappointing for a timex watch to fail after a short period and for the company to not stand behind the product. The watch component seems to be of quality, but it should be noted the warranty will not cover much, and even in the event a covered item fails, the cost of shipping and fees will likely negate any potential benefit. ... show more

I'm returning this item because the packaging it came is arrived half ripped with the watch just rattling around in its plastic holder inside. I've purchased many Timex watches in the past and they are packaged much differently with everything intact including a plastic band which attaches the watch securely inside. I refuse to pay good money for used or samples so it's going back. If you're thinking of purchasing as a gift look elsewhere. You're better off buying at department store.
