For such a low price, this is an amazingly great looking watch. After delivery, I put it on and showed it to my wife, who has great taste and is also remarkably picky about these things. SHE LOVED IT IMMEDIATELY. It's a classic, timeless look, and you can buy other bands to accent the watch. The only thing bad I have to say about this watch, is that it's a Loud Ticker. The Timex's Weekend and Expedition are the same, so I just assume that with the low price comes a less quality mechanical build, hence the loud ticking. If you can overcome that, or just don't care, this is a great watch purchase! ... show more

I bought this watch for my husband. He loves it, I think that the band is a little small even though he says its fine lol. He has it on the very last hole leaving not much room for the watch to fit comfortably (again my opinion) but definitely a nice watch and worth the money.

    • Works perfect
I've ordered two of these watches and I love it. It's simple and just works and can survive a few washes in the laundry if you accidentally leave it in your pocket for whatever reason. Anyway I've had my watch for about 3 years and it's still running and has been through the clotheswash a few times due to my irresponsibility but it doesn't seem to be failing me. The body of the watch is nice and low profile (8mm thick, 34mm case diameter) which is why I was wanting this watch in the first place but also simplicity. The ticking is rather loud but it's pretty negligible otherwise you are a really sensitive person with sensitive feelings. The watch illuminates perfectly fine and works all the time, though I always forget this watch has a illumination function when you can't see the time in the dark. As a disclaimer I will say that I did replace the watch strap with a Crown & Buckle leather nato style watch strap (real leather) mostly because I'm not a fan of the basic type of watch straps because the sliding band piece never seems to hold the excess strap length in place and slides off, and they never feel promising in the first place. So I have no say in how durable the stock straps are for this particular model. Kinda amazing just by replacing your watch strap can make your watch look really fancy and expensive. So if you're looking for a nice reasonably durable slick watch, this is the one you want. ... show more

When the watch arrived, the stem had fallen out. I needed to get a watch repair shop to fix it. Next the hands of the watch stopped moving. When I had the battery changed, the hands started working for a couple of hours and then stopped working again. The Indiglo built in light is very dim.

I tend towards Spartan-ness and I bought this watch because it is a plain and simple timepiece, easy to read and uncluttered by two or three stems controlling various gizmos on its dial. The Indiglo works really well. However, it appears I must take it to a jeweler or watch repairman to change the battery - can't do it myself. I hate that. ... show more
