The media could not be loaded. so the watch itself is beautiful, i was skeptical about the champagne face but it’s so pretty in person, i wanted a watch that I would wear with gold and silver jewelry and would last decently well. i don’t question it’s quality, seems well made and the face came with no scratches. indiglo did work, timing works great. my only thing is that the band is stretchy, which i love the concept of, but as a nearly 6 foot tall woman with, honestly, just light arm hair, the watch felt almost tight. since the watch had to stretch to get over my hands, the band felt like it would catch my arm hair and sorta pinch, or maybe my skin? idk. once it’s positioned in the right place it isn’t too bothersome at all, but I am picky and i want to be spending money on smth that’s completely comfortable and i don’t have to get pinched lolol. if you are an average person with an average build and average sized arms, the watch is prolly perfect. but i cannot image this being particularly comfy for a man who is more built, anyone plus sized (like myself, size 16-18), or just has large hands/wrists or a lot of hair. the actual watch is lit af, i just don’t like the pinching!!!! i had to leave a review to warn my fellow amazon shoppers lol, leave a like if u were warned. I am returning, but i genuinely really like the watch and i think it’s totally worth the money (i got it for $40 at the time of purchase). i obviously cannot speak for longevity but i have owned multiple timex watches and they tend to last a while!!! ... show more

Description states it's not for swimming or bathing. However since it's relatively inexpensive, I've used it daily for swimming without an issue. It even spent the night in the bottom of the pool without issue. I've used it in salt water without any corrosion. It's not a big watch which I like since it's less likely to snag while working in the yard, car or removing a sweaty Tshirt. It's my daily go to watch. The band is a little pinchy but fits perfect. Would recommend changing it to a spiedel but very useable as is. ... show more

This is a nice watch. I just think it’s super annoying to set the dates. Also the watch is not readily and easily adjustable. I think I need to buy tools or go to a watch/jewelry store to adjust the circumference to fit my wrist. It’s a nice looking affordable timepiece though. But I would have rather purchased something more user friendly ... show more

I bought this Timex Men's South Street Sport Watch to replace one of the same I have been using for several years. I had no problems with the old one, and it was working fine, but I did not realize that replacing the battery in this model Timex is no longer a user possible thing. Without the correct tool, it is virtually impossible to get the back onto the watch correctly without doing damage. (I don't like that, but at the price for the quality, I'll put up with it.) Originally I had ordered an Easy Reader model that had only a date window (no day window), and that I had to return since I could not get the crown to come out the proper distance to adjust the date without stopping the watch, and the self-adjustable band had a problem with hanging slightly open and snagging. It was only later that I found this one which was exactly what I was replacing and liked (and works very well). The description says it has an extended band, and counting the links it is 3 links longer than the one I had before, but it still fits my average to smaller wrist in an acceptable way. If I can figure out a way to remove 1 or 2 links from the band without damaging it I will do that. But it is ok as it is. The face is somewhat lighter in color than the one I had, and that along with slightly wider hands makes it much easier to read in the dark using the Indiglo light feature (which is one of the main reasons I insist on staying with Timex, along with the ultra reliable accuracy). I have used Seiko and Bulova watches I received as awards which cost more than 10 times the price of this model Timex, and for my purposes almost any Timex out-performs those. ... show more
