Once purchased I modified the watch look with an aftermarket 18mm jubilee bracelet, and a cyclops for the date window; the mods produced a clean familiar look. The watch is a good size and readability is fine. The bezel is multidirectional and very loose. It “spins” very freely and doesn’t have a solid “click” like other watches. If you’re looking for a super budget GMT watch this is the only one to get. But to constantly adjust the bezel back to the noon position makes it quite annoying and makes me question quality and accuracy ... show more

I like the size, overall quality, accuracy and most importantly, the GMT (UTC) hour indication. The band is great and any link pin removal tool will allow you to adjust the links for a great fit. My everyday watch is a R**** GMT Master but I wanted a watch with more accuracy and less value when flying outside the U.S. Although this is a Swiss Quartz movement, the second hand is slightly off from the markings on the dial. It also took me a while to figure out that the GMT hand when set, will slip one dial marking slow as it engages with the drive train. For example, when setting it , set the GMT hand one minute marking ahead of where you want it and an hour later it will be exact and not change unless you reset the GMT hand again. I haven't tried it for water resistance. The illuminated markings only work for a short time in the dark, which is not uncommon for today's non-radioactive watches. It would be great if it had a Timex Indiglow dial. Also, a larger or magnified day numbers would be nice. Another feature to add would be a day/date model too. I'll add more reports later... Stylish Quartz GMT in diver style for reasonable market price. While its dial and indices are inspired from GMT masters, the original Q from 1970s prevails in the case design. It has a thin profile helped by the quartz movement, but also the acrylic dome and a low bezel compared to a Seiko GMT. It's a caller GMT, and the gears for the GMT engage with the main hand after some minutes of setting the hand. This makes it more finicky to set, but if done right it's accurate. The bezel is a friction bezel - and perhaps a bit too loose that it can annoy you. Keep this in mind. The lume is mediocre, but it's a nice feature for the price. The tick is silent and the second hand are hitting the second marks about ~0,1 mm off. It's acceptable. The dome is acrylic, giving some nice distortion, but susceptible for scratches. The addition of rubber strap is fine. Maybe this was a cost-saving measure, as a matching bracelet like on the other colorways would look much better. Casio straps fits well here, especially the dark bracelets from the Vintage Edgy product line. Overall, it's a well proportioned watch with many features for its price point. However, it has some expected shortcomings which you will have to accept. ... show more

One of the things I like about quart watches is that they are accurate. My new Timex has stayed on time for over one week, so I think about one sec a month. This beats many more expensive watches that you could wear on your wrist. The one thing a watch must do is tell the time, and be accurate. Watch is a good sized and light on wrist, band is comfortable. It is easy to set, and east to read. Setting the GMT and date functions is easy. It does look great, and goes with my business casual wardrobe well. I have 7 watches, and I mix and match depending on what I am doing and wearing. This one goes with most everything. Good value for the money. Have not tested the water resistant, but I know Timex, I would not hesitate to wear this while swimming. Not a diver, so that will not be an issue. In any case, I would use a Diver watch. If you are thinking of purchasing this watch, go ahead, you will not be disappointed. ... show more

Great-looking watch at a great price. However, the GMT complication doesn't work, which may be a dealbreaker for some. As with other reviewers, I had ordered a replacement and found this wasn't a one-off problem.
