  • Inexpensive, tells time, end of story!
My watch battery died and I've found that Timex watches are actually cheaper to just buy another than it is to have a battery replaced, so I bought this one. Might be I no longer need a watch, since I have a smartphone, which communicates with GPS satellites and therefore always has time correct to the millisecond. Therefore, many people no longer wear watches but somehow I find it easier to look at a watch. This watch is a little small for those of us who can remember the Kennedy Administration. It has the 24-hour clock around the rim in even smaller numbers although it is still possible for a senior citizen to read if he has his glasses on. There's a date indicator which is so small it's barely legible, and it also has to be pushed ahead manually on months with less than 31 days (it's a "dumb" watch.) This won't surprise people my age but for those under 30 it might be a disappointment. To read it at night you press in on the button (only one there, can't miss it) and it lights up in "Indiglo" green, making the hands and numbers really stand out. Doing this requires considerable battery power, so don't check it at night more often than you have to (I found this out with a previous Timex watch). It does cost less than battery replacement but I ended up replacing the battery in my previous watch anyway. It seemed so profligate to throw away a perfectly good watch that I couldn't follow up on my rational economic decision. So I guess I wasted my money on this watch. It was so cheap it doesn't matter. ... show more

  • Wasn't really what I needed
I bought this watch because I saw it before in the Philippines where I live and I have bought a lot of Timex watches and I really like the indiglo feature and the glow in the dark hands numbers and indicators but I needed a black face dial another white face dial because the numbers kind of blend in with the white dial face. Otherwise this would have been a very nice watch especially for the price and besides 80% of the Timex watches in the world are made in Cebu Philippines so I especially like buying things that come from home. ... show more

  • This may be my favorite watch ever
Color: Black/Brown/Charcoal
Grew tired of charging an Apple watch and all the alerts but it was comfortable to wear and I was worried about switching back to a standard watch. This watch is not bulky, band is very comfortable, it looks great, and it just tells me the time/date! Nice product Timex.

  • Works Great!!!
Because my jobs were always on the rough side, sheet metal mechanic, I always went with inexpensive watches that kept good time. The two I have now are 14 years old and all I've done is had batteries replaced. Liked the looks of this one and I'm retired now but still doing a lot of outside work so I've stuck with the Timex brand that has served me so well over the last 40-50 years. The only thing I wish they did is change the Spring forward, Fall back crap that our government 'thinks' we need to do to survive. I'd have to go digital for that to happen. John Cameron Swayze said it best many, many years ago when I was a lad, 'takes a licking and keeps on ticking.' ... show more

  • Great cheap watch! Excellent value for awesome watch.
Color: Black/Brown/Charcoal
I really like this watch, use it as my weekender watch. I particularly like it’s analogue. It has a great back light-indigo feature that I really like. It feels very well made and I like the metal case. It has 20mm lugs so easy to find different straps especially nato type. I purchased it for just over twenty bucks, probably one of the best purchases I’ve made in recent years! ... show more

  • Every day use watch
Color: Black/Brown/Charcoal
Great affordable watch. The only one issue I came across is it doesn't Want to stay on my wrist properly it keeps on moving to the outside of my wrist possibly do to the band. I guess I will have to wait and see if continuously wearing will soften the stiffness of the band.

  • Timex is the best
I have worn Timex watches for 40 years. they are the best at this price point. They perform well, they are comfortable and they are stylish. They also don't spy on everything you do, say, or who you are with. My phone does that quite well.

  • Great looking and value
Color: Black/Brown/Charcoal
Light, comfortable leather? band. Good scratch resistance...I have banged it around pretty good over last 2 months and still clear face. Only drawback is it ticks rather loudly.
