  • Survived the washing machine
Color: Black/Gray Stripe
Nicely sized watch. Very durable. Though the band gets dirty relatively fast, don't drop it in the dirt. On the flip side it weathered the washing and drying machines. I accidently left it in a pocket and the watch still works fine, initially it was activating the indiglo for all buttons, but after a time that went away. ... show more

  • Be aware --- it's smaller than the standard watch
Color: Blue/Black
The picture exactly matched the Timex Expedition that I've been wearing for maybe ten years, so I bought it. The old watch never gave up, it was just battered. Plus, the band was stretched out and I couldn't get it tight on my wrist, so I was probably going to be spending half the price of the watch for a new band anyway. I seem to remember that I always had an issue tightening the band on this watch because I have a smaller wrist - see below for how this impacts the new one. So, I got the new one and immediately noticed that it's smaller than the standard size watch I've been wearing. I'm a guy, and is it a women's watch? Or a kid's watch? No, it's advertised as unisex, and as I mentioned above, same design as what I've been wearing. I never measured the old watch, but this is indicated to be 33 mm in diameter. The band fit my wrist snugly, and I used up all but about 1/2" of the band. (The band size is indicated - it goes up to 7-1/2", and my relatively small wrist is about 7"). But after wearing it for a couple of days it's grown on me. I can read it fine, I can operate the buttons normally, and I will probably hit fewer things as I wear it compared to the old one. I don't need my watch to be as big as the old one. Just be aware that if you're a bigger person and have a beefy wrist, the band on this may not fit you. I haven't gotten this one wet yet, so no review on that. ... show more

I been wearing this same watch since 1988, I believe. I wouldn’t wear any other watch. This watch has all the functionality I need….👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

  • My favorite watch
Color: Blue/Black
I have purchased 5 of this model of watch over the past 20 years. One was for a gift. They will last 4 to 5 years with one battery unless you use the light too often. The velcro band will normally wear out before the watch, but they last for years also. Highly recommended.

My 7yr old son wanted a watch with a chronometer. He is EXTREMELY happy with his watch. Fits perfect.

  • Not surprised, Timex wins again!!
Summary: takes a little figuring out, simple YouTube video works ;). Does take some breaking in, but over time nylon straps become more and more comfy. But holy freaking CRUD CAKES I love the features and configuration. I work with animals.... a smart watch is NOT going to cut it. However I need a watch with a stop watch (chronometer also works), several alarms, and timer for work (and myself too lol). This one has all of it!!! On top of that, no alarm EVER wakes me up... BUT THESE ONES DOOO!!! That won me over not gonna lie. If you're looking for a quiet watch... this is not it. The alarms beep and flash the indiglo... and the beeps are quite loud... (that's why it actually wakes me up) but all alarms and beeps can all be turned off entirely (no more beeping at every button!). Each alarm has a separate on-off feature (as well as weekday, weekend, or daily settings), and the 2 time clocks have separate systems as well. Meaning: you can have one time in a 12 hour configuration... and the second in a 24 configuration if you want to! Also if you hold the indiglo button until it beeps you can turn on a "night mode" feature where if any button is pressed the indiglo lights up (so you don't have to keep pressing the indiglo button every three seconds). The only thing I haven't personally tested is the waterproofing, but it's a Timex sport watch watch so I'm not afraid to say it will probably be good for light snorkeling. Also, personally I don't understand how to use the laps feature in the chronometer (I also don't know what it's for...) but I'm sure that's just a simple google search away. I'm not going to lie, this was my upgrade from the Timex marathon... and I normally wait a lot longer before reviewing... but I trust Timex sport watches so much that I'm 100% comfortable saying this is the best watch I've ever had!!! ... show more
