I purchased this as a birthday gift for my then-11 year old son. He's going to be 12 in less than a month, and this watch is still going strong! He wears it always -- has to be reminded to take it off for his baseball games. It is sturdy: the Velcro is still holding strong, the alarm and backlight feature still doing what they should. A year in, and the battery hasn't died yet! And on the wrist of my tween son - this thing sees a lot of action! We're so impressed by his Timex watch, I bought a Timex for his teenage sister and then another Timex for myself. I am disappointed that Timex does not make a digital wristwatch for girls. This same thing, but a bit more feminine. My 8 year old wanted what this son has, but we had to buy a different brand so it could be more appealing for her.

I bought this for my son, I know he’s going to get his watch wet when he’s playing in the summer so this is a good choice for durability. Fits him well, he has skinny kid wrists an the Velcro band adjusted perfectly. I’m giving this four stars because it didn’t come with directions for use and it would’ve taken less time to set the time and figure out the alarms.

I had previously owned Casio calculator watches but they all eventually died because the plastic shoulder that holds the pin for the band attachments would break off. I wanted a countdown timer but this was hard to find in Casio along with the calculator. I decided with my iPhone I did not need the tiny hard to read calculator so researched Timex. This watch met all my criteria with alarms, dual time, countdown timer, hourly chime etc. The only fault is that the volume of the alarms, chimes etc is just not loud enough for me to hear unless the room is very quiet. I am 76 but had my hearing checked recently and it is above the norm for my age. It's possible that the particular frequency of the alarms is in a low spot in my hearing but I could hear the Casio alarms just fine. I would however by the watch again despite that one problem.

Apon opening the box I was surprised how small looking the watch was. Looks like it was built for a 10 year old kid. The search for the instructions was an adventure between the tightly rolled up pamphlet written in multiple languages didn't contain instructions but gave a website that no longer exists. Good thing for Google.

I have had this watch since August of 2021 or so and decided it's time to write a review. I have never had any problems with the watch. It has been left outside overnight in the rain, dropped many many times, splashed all over with water, worn every single day, and it still functions perfectly. The watch band has also stayed intact. I think all the issues with water in other reviews are because people have misunderstood the difference between water resistant, and waterproof. Best watch I've owned.

I love my Expedition!!!! Not only does it display the time, but it shows the day of the week and date too. It has an alarm, timer and stop watch. The indiglo feature is handy in low light situations. And for me, the Velcro band is a huge plus. I have metal allergies and no metal touches my skin to make me break out. I highly recommend this watch to anyone.
