I had a similar case years ago for my iPad Pro and this case is the same vendor (?) or manufacturer. I like these cases over the regular ones because it has soft silicone combined with hard black plastic. iPad mini is quoted thin so I do like the extra bulk to hold. Still very comfortable. Plus, the handgrip on the back is perfect for in the field work, customer service, and other applications. I saw the Apple Store rep using something similar with the handgrip. I was concerned about adding a screen protector and the case not fitting but the case fits like a glove! I believe most screen protectors “should” fit. All the buttons, speakers, charging port are accounted for on this case. There is also a space for non-Apple blue tooth pen. And there is a slide on the back to prop the iPad up for ease of viewing. I got the orange one to make it more visible at work or at home! Overall, the case is a solid choice for your iPad mini.

This is the perfect case, rugged, not too big, protective and has the spot for the pencil. Also love the handle in the back, the stand that I’ve used several times and the carrying straps. I just bought my second one, a replacement for the one I dropped 30+ times over the course of two years and it still kept working but was just getting a little ragged.

I upgraded from an ipad mini 6 to an ipad mini 7, and had a similar case from a different manufacturer so I was looking for something similar to it but because I did have a few issues with the old case, I was more picky and determined to find a new case that covered some of the issues the old case had. Foremost the flimsy stand of the old case broke within the first few weeks. The design of the stand in this case though is solid in its design. It is built with better impact resistant plastic that is thicker, and has the additional protection from the velcro grip. I do not think I will have any issues in the years that I will own this one. The old case I had contained a plastic shell that snapped together with a flexible membrane that covered the shell. Ultimately that shell broke. Additionally it interfered with the front facing camera. The housing of this case however feels more solid, does not interfere with the camera, and gives you two front assemblies with one that has some screen protection to it; however, I opted to use the front half without the screen because I use a tempered glass front piece (that I had leftover from many years ago when I got the ipad mini 6, it was a 2 pack). One additional feature that my old case eventually lacked was proper protection of the charge port, and a challenge to find chords that would insert. This new case does not have that issue either. All my chords fit, the cover easily opens, and it feels like it will last until my next ipad mini upgrade. I had additionally purchased a pencil to use with this case. When I first put it in, I struggled to pull it out until I noticed they had a hole on the back side that allowed you to push it out. At first I thought this was great, and felt confident that I could bring my pencil along with my tablet anywhere; however, that proved to not be the case when I realized that the pencil was not there anymore (I was using the neck strap, and it likely was jolted out of the case when I wasn’t giving it my full attention). I have yet to replace the pencil; however, I would suggest on a revision to add additional means to secure it within the case. I may beef up the next pencil with some tape or add some adhesive backed felt inside to give some extra grip for the next one. Outside of that, it’s the perfect case if you bring your ipad mini with you everywhere like I do.

This was a hard review for me because I have such mixed feelings and I am to honest. Dont get me wrong, for the priceThis product was fantastic for Kids that has good drop coverage, would be great for little hands. great little holder and stand ( FOR KIDS! ) For what I needed it for was not to my satisfaction. I needed to carry this all day and used a lot The strap on the back did not fit my hand very well ( WAY TOO SMALL ) The kickstand was very good to watch videos but was not angled well for typing ( This may not have been built for that tho so that could be ALL ME LOL.) But it did nicely lock in place. The straps where pretty good but for having 900 to a 1000 dollar IPad being carried all day should have had better secure staps not string at the end. Attaching to the pad. But really what did I expect for the price. The rubber was great around the whole case but for most of my charging cable I put in in came right back out due to that rubber hard to keep it charging over night. Over all its a fantastic case ( ONCE AGAIN FOR CHILDREN ) but as a working adult that needed to use for professional use daily not a good fit. So for Adults I give a rating of 5 out of 10. But for kids I will give a 8 out of 10. So that is why out of 5 I gave a 3 over all. Just because this was not a fit for me it could be for you. I guess it just depends how you are going to use it. ( LIKE EVERYTHING ) But I would say if I did not cut the handle in the back I would have sent this product back and let them keep the money. So if it is for your kids I recommend it. Hope this help on your choice.

-This is an excellent case for the price, I didn’t even know I needed it until I stumbled across it on Amazon. It’s exactly what I was hoping it would be. A loop to put your hand through so you don’t drop it in a strap put around your neck if you’re on a job, it’s so convenient. I bought it with the non-glare nano paper texture screen protection. It Too was excellent.
