The strap on this bag (I prchased the green bag) is two colored - green on one side and burgandy on the other. The bag is meant for aggressive uses. I will use mine fully loaded and tossed on the back of my vehicle for job site use. In my opinion, the handbag is very well priced - a custom bag shoulder bag strap can cost more than this bag with shoulder strap. The bag is divided inside by a hanging zipper pocket that is deep. Beautiful deep but semi-glossy (not patent shiny, not dull matte, just right) bottle-green leather—my absolute favorite color and exactly what I’ve been looking for many years. Interior compartments are sufficiently roomy and made with quality, perfectly stitched thick but soft grosgrain material; do wish the center zippered compartment was fully attached to the bottom of the bag. Had to “shape” the bottom of the bag slightly after arrival due to shipping duress, but no creasing or damage. Lovely real leather smell. Customary stiffness of thick new leather, as expected, which I know will soften with time.     • Strong Chemical Odor Can Be Removed

This genuine leather bucket bag is absolutely beautiful. The lining is perfect and all the stitching is impeccably sewn. The downside is the very strong and overpowering chemical smell. The consensus among leather experts is improper tanning techniques cause the offensive odor. Here is what I have done at the suggestion of experts: 1. Pour baking soda inside a sock and place inside the purse. 2. Clean the outside of the purse with a trusted leather cleaner. I put the cleaner on the bottom of the purse as a color test and then gave the entire purse a good going over. 3. Condition your purse with a trusted leather conditioner. Usually a little bit goes a long way. I used Leather Honey leather care kit. It comes with an 8 ounce bottle of cleaner, 8 ounce bottle of conditioner, and 2 lint-free application cloths. This kit can be purchased on Amazon. I hope this review helps other buyers who are thinking of returning their handbag due to the horrible odor. The odor can be eradicated with just a little bit of effort and the beautiful purse is definitely worth keeping. ... show more

The leather on this bag is timeless. The details and hardware are of upmost quality. This bag makes me more excited then my Ferragamo bags.
