I got these in my normal 11.5M. They were comfortable but I felt like my feet just weren't snug enough. After putting another set of cushioned insoles under the regular insoles, they fit great. Slightly snug, but breaking in should yield a perfect fit. Quality and style is good. I've had 3-4 other pairs of timberlands, and they've all lasted a few years under heavy use. I expect the same of these.

I was kinda on the fence about these for a long time. Buying slip on shoes isn't something I thought about. But after trying on a pair of these in a store I saw them on sale here and decided to try them. Not disappointed. I wear them all the time and have not had a problem with them at all. Quite comfortable. No rubbing issues or sore spots so far.

My husband has a standard, non-pointy 9.5M foot except for a very high instep. These fit him well, including with cotton athletic socks on. Been receiving online ordered shoes that are off-size in length lately. I can forgive the mid-area width not fitting since that’s a charming but nonetheless abnormal feature of his feet (which he claims is a sign of aristocratic blood). But what the heck is going on with off-sizing within the same brand? Timberland isn’t the only one. He loved the last Timberland leather ankle boots I ordered him 2 weeks ago in 9.5 but claimed they felt a full 2 half-sizes too long so had to return them. Yes, I checked the label to be sure. These hiking shoes look really nice. Tread looks great for light day hiking here in Southern CA and pretty much everywhere. Quality construction from what I can see but I’ll update this review if something goes wrong later like the sole and leather upper start separating as I’ve seen in reviews of a few other Timberlands recently but not this model so far. Just got them but thought I’d let people know the sizing in this one is accurate at least for 9.5. Another trip to UPS avoided.

I was looking for a good shoe for my urban hikes. Something that worked well on concrete and on park trails. This shoe is what I needed. I don’t feel the ground under the sole. The sole is thick enough for protection and comfort while having a shape that seems to make it easy to roll along. They look nice also. I am happy with the purchase. My only wish is that it came in black also.

Like other reviews, the brown is different from the picture. It's a darker chocolate brown that does not look distressed at all. Size 10.5 seems to run a little large. With heavier hiking socks, it's a good fit. But for every day wear in lighter socks the shoes seem roomy. The tread is aggressive. Not waterproof. A good shoe for every day outdoor wear or light walking on easier trails, but lacks support for serious/longer hiking.

Size 11 Wide. These fit great and are only slightly snug when brand new. They will break in to be very comfortable. Good arch and ankle support for a slip on boot. I will buy again if they wear as good as they seem like they will. I expect to get at least two years out of them.

As a lot of other reviewers noted, the finish on these shoes is a deep chocolate brown unfinished matte look, which I think is very attractive. The shoes are well constructed, but the fit is odd: - a little tight in the front - very loose in the back. - a very high and stiff tongue I worth these for a couple of hours around the house just to get a feel. I really wanted them to work because I liked the look. Unfortunately, the tongue bites into my ankle, just above the bridge. My guess is that this would loosen up over time as the show molds to your foot. For me, the heel area seemed very wide and I found myself "sloshing around" in the shoe. Again, all shoe fit in personal, and I would encourage you give these a try because of the excellent construction and smart look. Caveat: I wear a 10.5~11, since I insert orthotic arch supports, I ordered an 11, if you don't use arch supports, the fit will be very different.
