Uppers made with premium 100 percent waterproof leather from an LWG Silver-rated tannery. TimberDry eco-conscious waterproof membrane. Fully gusseted tongue. Removable anti-fatigue footbed. Compression-molded EVA midsole. 15 percent recycled rubber outsole. Imported. Shaft measures approximately 5 inch from arch. Heel measures approximately 1.5 inch. Platform measures approximately 1 inch. Covered by the Timberland Limited Warranty. Because Timberland is unable to control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the limited warranty is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. Great so far. I have wide feet, and ordered the wide even though some reviews online said the wides were still too narrow. But the fit is good. It took a few miles of local neighborhood walks to break them in, but they broke in fairly well and fast. After the break-in, I hit the trails and they are very comfortable on rocky sand and loose rocks as found in the desert. No hot spots. They are heavier than sneakers, but they are lighter than you would think from looking at them. They replace a pair of Asolo leather boots that I've had for many years, and these are much more comfortable right out of the box. And for their price, they seem very well built. Update after full break-in and a good amount of wear: These boots remain awesome. Definitely recommended for solid, supportive, fairly light, durable, waterproof boots. With normal socks and the insole in place they fit and work great for hiking and walking in any weather. Bonus: If the insole is removed I can wear thick enough socks so they can replace my Sorels for most use cases including extended snow shoveling. Earlier review follows here: After trying many way too soft modern styles, I was looking for the sturdiness and support of a high quality leather boot. Hopefully these will finally fit the bill. Contrary to some reviews and AI info, they do need a break-in period. I am still breaking them in so I am not 100% ready to endorse them yet, but they are coming along well. They are relatively lightweight but are not as light as synthetic fabric boots or trail runners. They're not unusually hot at all, again contrary to some other reviews. The grip and support are excellent. There is no problem with the speed lacing eyelets catching like they sometimes do on others - the eyelet appears to be a new design to fix that problem. Like with all boots I bought a half size larger and added a Spenco insole to replace the existing one, but after doing this many times I can say the US11.5 seems true to size. Will update this when I get them on the trail and in the weather - I can't vouch for the waterproofing yet but I expect it to be fine. Boots are great..I added another layer of insole padding for comfort. Reason for only 4 stars is BOOT LACES SUCK BIG TIME. FLAT LACES ALWAYS UNHOOK FROM BOOTHOOKS.I BOUGHT COUPLE PAIRS OF ROUND LACES FIXED PROBLEM ALSO WERE TOO LONG IF NOT USING LAST HOOK. COMFY BOOTS OTHERWISE..KALEO

Timberland is my go-to boot brand and I have never been disappointed. Well-made, true fit, and comfortable right out of the box. I went for a size 12 Wide to accommodate winter socks, but the boots lace up easily with lighter socks as well.

Glad to have gotten these. The size was perfect. I'm a 9.5. Got a 9.5 and it fits like a glove. I like this edition from Tim, but I'll probably swap out the laces for shorter, thicker ropes. The only bad thing I'll say is they came a bit disformed. Both had the outer sides kind of indented, I'm assuming from storage. I expect they'll regain shape after wearing them. But all in all got these at a great price, happy I did. ... show more
