  • A well made boot which fits my foot well
Size: 11 Wide Color: Dark Brown
I recently purchased this boot and since it was the first time I had puchased a Timberland boot I was a bit unsure of the correct size. I can comfortably wear a US 11 Teva boot or shoe but only a US 10.5 in their sandals. I have a fairly wide foot and always get the EE fitting and stick to wide brands such as New Balance in runners. I tried Keen boots but found the US 11 too tight with thick socks and had to go to the US 11.5 but I found the Keen's to be very thickly padded which may be great for cold climates but I live in Australia and only occasionally hike in the cold or snow when I go to North America. I also read many stories of Keen boots coming unstitched, soles splitting and soles separating from the shoe. The Timberland Flume certainly appears to be well bonded and has held up so far to fairly basic walks but the main thing is it feels comfortable in thicker socks, it's not overly padded and in the US 11 EE size it fits perfectly for me. They are currently made in Vietnam like many items of footware but this is why you can buy them so cheap. I have read that some people have had the lace grommets come out but this is a simple repair at a reputable shoe or boot repairer although it will cause you problems if it happens in the middle of the hike. The boot is also very lite for a leather boot and in my opinion should suit my style and location of hiking better than the nylon and gortex lined boots which I find to be very hot. I will add an update after some winter hikes I have planned in a weeks time. ... show more

  • Best comfy Boots for work!
Size: 8 Color: Black Full Grain
Boots never delivered to us. But I will give it a 5 stars because there are Great Boots my husband wont used other kind. He always gets it in a local store but they didn’t had it on stock in his size so i said ill check where can we get it faster because he needed asap. Regardless of it being delivered to another address it has nothing to do with how great quality they are. ... show more

  • Good boots
Size: 11 Wide Color: Dark Brown
Fits as expected. Been wearing Timberland hiking boots as my "general" waterproof boots for years now, these are the same as always. One thing about this model in particular, I chose it because as you can see in the photos, the rear of the ankle support cuts down lower than standard boots that just have a circular ring of cushion around the ankle. I wanted this feature in particular, because on the standard boots your ankles can get really hot from this extra cushion. On this boot, having the ankle support cut down like this gives you some "breathing room" and makes your feet slightly cooler. This is significant if you plan to wear them in hot climates, for example on my trip through Mexico. It makes a difference, and does not compromise the functionality of the boots. For trekking around sites like Teotihuacan these boots are pretty perfect. For walking in the city, the arch support is a little lacking and my flat feet start to get sore after a few days of heavy pavement walking. Overall though I am pretty satisfied with these and they are holding up just fine. ... show more

  • Six months in & I like these boots
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Brown
Held up well, soles are wearing ok, uppers are good, original laces, sole+upper joint have not separated & are watertight. These boots are worn as casual footwear, around the house, hiking, yardwork, cutting firewood, working on the car, hunting the 'back 40', etc. Very comfortable. They still look good and do not look beat up at all even though I don't worry about what happens to them in the mud & rocks. I initially thought I should have bought a half size larger, but kept them anyway and I really like the fit. Perhaps just a smidge short in the toe, but it really could go either way. I would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Timberlands Are Amazing
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Brown
I bought this pair for my husband 3 years ago and he's wore them every fall & winter since. He finally wore them out and I bought him another pair, he loves them. He works outside so he needed something waterproof, durable, warm and something with good support, these boots are all of those things. He normally wears a 10.5 and so I bought his normal size and they fit him perfectly. Not tight around the foot at all, you can wear heavy socks and they still feel comfortable. I really don't worry about how much they cost, you can't put a price on durability, comfort and support. Great value, comfort and durability, I recommend these to all the guys out there who want a comfortable boot you can count on to keep you warm and protected. ... show more

  • Feels like sneakers.
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black Full Grain
I bought my first pair last November and fell in love. I like the design. For once the manufacturers thought about us. I like how it has a an angle at sole so it last longer. I like that I dont have to tie them up everytime I put them on. They always fit perfect. I was looking for a lightweight comfortable durable boot. I found it. I like how they have an option on the size for people that have wide feet. These boots feel like sneakers at the construction site their so ligth. I can even run with them. I like that their black and waterproof. And last along time. The only thing I dont like is the design of the hooks. Its dangerous specially In construction sometimes the hooks get caught with each other and you can trip. It happened lots of times allready. Also the hooks sometimes close or open too much. If I was the manufacturer I would put solid metal loops better. Even tho I said all that they are still the best boots around. ... show more
