  • Good value, they seem to be well made.
Size: 13 Wide Color: Dark Brown
Hands down the best fitting, most comfortable boot I've ever put on right out of the box. No break in time. I wore them all day.

  • Timberland Men’s Flume Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot Review
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
Timberland Men’s Flume Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot Review The Timberland Flume Mid hits a sweet spot between traditional hiking support and everyday wearability. Made with **premium full-grain waterproof leather** and a **seam-sealed construction**, it keeps feet dry through rain, slush, and shallow snow without feeling overly stiff. The **compression-molded EVA midsole and footbed** offer excellent shock absorption and comfort right out of the box, with almost no break-in period. These boots have a **solid rubber lug outsole** that grips well on both rocky trails and wet pavement. The **gusseted tongue** keeps out dirt and debris — a small but important detail for comfort during long hikes. Weight is moderate; lighter than heavy-duty work boots but still substantial enough for good ankle stability. Fit runs **true to size** with normal or wide options that accommodate thick socks easily. The dark brown full-grain finish looks rugged but polished enough to double as a casual winter boot. Durability and waterproofing both live up to Timberland’s reputation, and the included 12-month warranty adds peace of mind. Bottom line: A well-crafted, waterproof leather hiker that balances durability, comfort, and style. Ideal for light to moderate trails, travel, or cold-weather daily wear — a reliable Timberland classic worth its price. ... show more

  • A well made boot which fits my foot well
Size: 11 Wide Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
I recently purchased this boot and since it was the first time I had puchased a Timberland boot I was a bit unsure of the correct size. I can comfortably wear a US 11 Teva boot or shoe but only a US 10.5 in their sandals. I have a fairly wide foot and always get the EE fitting and stick to wide brands such as New Balance in runners. I tried Keen boots but found the US 11 too tight with thick socks and had to go to the US 11.5 but I found the Keen's to be very thickly padded which may be great for cold climates but I live in Australia and only occasionally hike in the cold or snow when I go to North America. I also read many stories of Keen boots coming unstitched, soles splitting and soles separating from the shoe. The Timberland Flume certainly appears to be well bonded and has held up so far to fairly basic walks but the main thing is it feels comfortable in thicker socks, it's not overly padded and in the US 11 EE size it fits perfectly for me. They are currently made in Vietnam like many items of footware but this is why you can buy them so cheap. I have read that some people have had the lace grommets come out but this is a simple repair at a reputable shoe or boot repairer although it will cause you problems if it happens in the middle of the hike. The boot is also very lite for a leather boot and in my opinion should suit my style and location of hiking better than the nylon and gortex lined boots which I find to be very hot. I will add an update after some winter hikes I have planned in a weeks time. ... show more

  • Good Enough
Size: 10 Color: Dark Brown
I bought these in the matte waterproof finish (newer make) and they seem to do the job; conventional finish would have cost $20 more. There seems to be a very slight bulge in the sole of the left one, but it may be going away with use. Medium weight, at least as comfortable as old Tims. Can't vouch for protective features, but quality is good enough at this price. ... show more

  • Great quality and look awesome. Perfect fit and comfortable.
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black Full Grain V1
These are very comfortable and very stylish looking boots. They are light weight and made of real leather, and the leather looks very high quality. They have excellent traction on the bottom so they can be used for hiking, working, or dressy casual wear. I wear them when we go out to eat because they look so nice. They have a padded collar around the ankle for extra comfort. I didn't need to break them in or add insoles; they are just super comfortable right out of the box. They fit true to size, which is great because I usually have a problem with boots being too narrow in the toes, but these fit perfectly. I love them. I just conditioned mine with BICK 4 leather conditioner and they look like new again after many months of wearing them. The leather conditioner makes any scuff marks dissappear and keeps them from cracking. Leather must be conditioned or it will crack and fade. These are boots that are made to last! I highly recommend them. ... show more

Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Dark Brown
Good for wide feet. Very short break in time. I really love these boots, they are my second pair. Super comfortable and warm. Good waterproofing, walking through snow and puddles is fine.
