Size: 8.5 Color: Medium Brown Full Grain
I have worn Timberland for years the last pair I bought was around 2016 so I got about six years out of it I don’t wear them every day I wear them hiking and working in the yard and hunting and things like that but they’ve always been very good at waterproofing traction and top notch in comfort I was just gonna get another pair of timberlands. I ordered them from Academy. I always wear eight they were too narrow read the reviews on Amazon, others complain about them being narrow so I purchased an eight. Yes they are narrow compared to my others. I also got a Nortiv8 and Columbia MR something. Timberland size 8 1/2 now fits me like 8 used to and I haven’t grown. Timberland compared to the Columbia and the Nortiv8. There was a huge difference the Columbia newton ridge while it had had 27,000 reviews and most of them are good. they must’ve been paid for those reviews. because the shoes weren’t sturdy definitely not a hiking shoe. maybe a knock around the yard shoe but the soul is very soft hollow has air pockets in the show sole. you could push it in with your finger. so I can only imagine how weak it would be on sharp stones and in rough rocky terrain. it wouldn’t work well. The Nortiv8 looks and seems quite well made especially for the price of 50.00. But I was unsure of the waterproofing ability. The comfort, fit and thickness of the soul were much better than Colombia but we’re not up to where the Timberland quality. I kept the Timberland at $75 more than the Nortiv but they feel fit and wear so well and I’m confident in the waterproof ability as I’ve had them for 20+ years ... show more

  • Great Boots but . . . .
Size: 12 Wide Color: Brown/Green
I normally don't like ordering shoes online unless I've tried them on in a store and know all the specifics of what I need/like. I took a chance on these since they come highly recommended by my brothers who have, of course, similar feet. I love them -- they feel like I'm walking on clouds and, for once, they are the right length -- that is to say, my toes don't get rubbed off (my big toe is too long -- it's a family trait). My brother told me he gets the shoe in WIDE so I did too. Well, if this is wide (and the labeling on the shoe says it is), I'd hate to see what medium or narrow is. So, buyer beware -- while these are great shoes, if you need a wide shoe, these are not for you. ... show more

These are my go to everyday boots. Fit as per advertised size, come in wide options. Needed a little bit of wearing in but are really comfortable

  • Lasted 8 years of hard use. Bought them again.
Size: 8.5 Color: Medium Brown Full Grain
I bought these boots the first time 8 years ago. I hiked all over the UK and US in them and for the last couple of years they were my daily shoes. I wear them on my motorcycle because they cover my heals. They stayed waterproof until about year 7 when the soul started to come off the leather and opened up. (See last pic) Love these and had a hard time saying goodbye. ... show more

  • Rugged work boot
Size: 9.5 Color: Medium Brown Full Grain
My husband is a plumber. These boots have seen all sorts of crap. Yes, I mean that literally. crap, sludge, mud, puddles, and let’s not forget the other yellow and red stuff that goes into a toilet. These boots have seen it all, and yet they still survive. They have been pressure washed, and sanitized, yet they still survive. After a couple of years, wearing them for 8 to 10 hours, 5 to 6 days a week, we replace them with the SAME BOOT. I’ve never seen a grown man cry, but I imagine that is what will happen to my husband if they ever stop making these boots. ... show more

  • Get the Gore-Tex Chocura 2.0 model, NOT this one with just the "Timber-Dry" liner!
Size: 12 Wide Color: Brown/Green
I've been buying the Chocura boots for over ten years and I wear them every day. They last one and a half years to two years. I do a lot of dog walking on pavement and hiking trails -- probably 700 to 1000 miles each year. I even kayak in them. You have to pay extra for the "2.0" model with the Gore-Tex liner and better sole, but it is worth it. The cheaper model is not as waterproof, doesn't breathe as well, and the sole wears out sooner. Don't get it. Go for the Chocura 2.0 even if you have to look hard to find it, and make sure you are ordering the right one. The descriptions are often confusing or even incorrect. Look for the Gore-Tex metal tag on the side of the boot and "2.0" in the description. ... show more

  • Love them
Size: 9.5 Color: Medium Brown Full Grain
Comparing them to Columbia's very similar hiking boots (I forget the model), the Timberlands are far superior. They have lasted longer, feel more sturdy, and are slightly more comfortable.
