All you want in a shoe - comfortable, well made, good looking, versatile

I've worn Timberlands for many years. They've always impressed with their high quality construction and excellent material choice. These seem no different and I would expect them to last a long time. Looks wise I've always loved Timberland's lug soled boat shoes. These are basically a boot version of those so I'm quite happy with how they look. In terms of comfort, these Timberland's are extremely comfortable. I've even been wearing them without socks because they feel so good on my feet. They're also quite easy to put on and take off with the laces equally easy to tighten up or pull loose. Definitely one of my favorite shoes these days and I've bought several really nice shoes this past year. This Timberland's a winner.

UPDATE: These were a great purchase - worn almost exclusively for over six months by our adult son! Bought these for our adult son who’s pretty particular about his shoe fit, and walks everywhere. I gave him warm/wool insoles (to use in them in Albany’s winter) and he wore these for a few hours of neighborhood walking the day they came … He’s been wearing them with NO COMPLAINTS a lot (# all week) of days! *will try to add how they fare on the worst days.
