I was very surprised by how easy this was to use! It’s very light, which is one of the first things I go for when buying things but still heavy-duty. And set up to first use was super fast. The instructions weren’t great about how to dilute the paint it just said 5-10%, but we figured out pretty quickly that if it sprays smoothly you’re good to go lol. It seems like it’s not really an exact science. We added a little bit of water to our water based paint and tested it on cardboard before to get the hang of it. It’s sooo smooth! You can see in my picture where I sprayed close and farther away where the paint spreads out a bit. Cleaning it was also so easy. I thought I was going to have to take it apart and do all the things but I rinsed the paint container with hot water immediately after use and just ran the paint sprayer with hot water until the water sprayed clear. I also want to point out that I was worried that it wouldn’t spray with just a little paint in there, but we tested it and it does! And it does well, it’s almost like a vacuum inside. Very pleased and excited to use this for our next big project, really wish we had this sooner!

First time using a sprayer and I was so excited. Ended up frustrated and covered in paint. The spray wouldn't stay consistent, I had to redo sections constantly, and cleaning was a pain. The plastic feels like it'll break any day. I'm going back to brushes, at least they work every time.

YSK: This paint sprayer is surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to hold, even during a longer project. The three nozzle options and adjustable spray patterns make it versatile enough for furniture, fences, cabinets, and other DIY jobs without needing a different tool for every surface. Setup was straightforward, although I definitely recommend straining the paint and testing the flow on a piece of cardboard first. Once the paint thickness and output were adjusted, the sprayer produced an even coat with good coverage and far fewer brush marks than painting by hand. The different spray patterns made it easy to switch between wider panels and smaller detailed areas. Cleaning was also much less complicated than I expected. I rinsed the paint container immediately after use, ran clean water through the sprayer, and removed the nozzle to clean the remaining paint. Taking care of it before the paint dries is the key, and the parts were easy to access without requiring an engineering degree. Overall, this made a time consuming painting project much faster and gave the finished surface a clean, professional appearance. The lightweight design, useful nozzle selection, and simple cleanup make it an excellent sprayer for home projects. Definitely recommend!

This is the best economy priced paint gun you will find on Amazon. The paint gun is comparable to the Wagner Electric paint gun. It has a large reservoir for paint. The gun is made of plastic construction making it very light weight. The gun comes with 3 nozzles so you can paint vertical Horizontal or just a general circle pattern. It feels nice in your hand and you can control it well because of the light weight construction. The plastic makes you doubt the quality of the gun, however it holds up well. I have painted my Gazebo with it and it did remarkably well. I think I am going to throw out my brushes. LOL. The clean up is super important. Once you are done painting for the day, you need to wash out the paint from the reservoir, clean and rinse all the paint from the nozzles, and run water through the gun to give it a thorough rinse. There are tools that come with the gun which allow you to punch out any dried paint from the gun. There are small brushes as well that help clean out the pick up tube. Overall the price is what makes this gun awesome. $14.99 for a paint gun is well worth the price.

This electric HVLP sprayer feels nicely balanced and lightweight in the hand, keeping wrist fatigue to a minimum during a long staining session. The three selectable nozzle sizes atomize thin latex paint into a remarkably consistent, uniform fan pattern without spitting heavy droplets across the surface. I noticed the removable fluid needle and front nozzle assembly detach quickly, making it incredibly simple to rinse out the paint chamber before the finish cures. However, the variable flow control dial spins a bit too freely, causing the material output to slowly drift and change volume from the vibration of the motor.

I was trying to finish putting stain on my deck, but there were places that a brush couldn't reach. I was hoping that this gun would allow me to spray those hidden areas. The first two pictures show you the before and after of that. I was pretty happy with the results, but it took a little learning. The power switch starts the blower and the trigger controls the paint spray. The way the device controls the amount of spray is by a knob on the trigger. With it fully tightened, you can get the max spray. As you loosen it, it stops the trigger at different levels. It is a pretty poor way to control the flow and the knob rotates really easily so pressing the trigger frequently can actually change the spray level. The device is very easy to use. The inserts (nozzle and diverter) are keyed so they can only go in one way and the spray pattern is easily adjusted. The spray is actually pretty good in coverage and uniformity, but that comes after a little practice. With the trigger fully pulled, it tended to deposit too much paint and I would get runs. If you are buying this to do paint, keep in mind that you may need to thin it out for it to work in this sprayer. I used undiluted stain because it was already thin and didn't have any issues. One nice thing is cleanup was a breeze. I had a pail of warm water with just a drop of detergent. I soaked the nozzle components and ran the gun with the tub filled with the water. After emptying the tub, everything was clean. Just needed a little wiping of places that got splashed. That was a nice as I was worried this might be a one and done thing. I think this would be a great tool to use for large areas like fences and barns. I would use it on things that the coverage could be a little non-uniform and it really wouldn't make much difference. I am not sure this would be a great tool for interior work as rolling would probably give more uniform coverage. But overall, this is a great value for a paint sprayer. Also, it wasn't obvious from the description or pictures but this is 120V AC powered.

I was in the middle of completing a second DIY dresser when I came across this paint sprayer. This sprayer took my couple of days to paint project to only a couple of minute to hours between coats. It was a bit difficult to understand its use be ause the directions about diluting the paint weren't that great. I just Google Geminied the brand and project and was able to get the paint diluted and got the gun going. Make sure to dilute the paint with water and not thinner. The thinner causes more clumps in the paint. Make sure you strain the paint into the gun as well after diluting the paint. It sprays on very smooth and you can get close enough to the object to get a full even coat. It does use a lot of paint pretty fast but the coverage you get in the timeframe is awesome. The end result of my dresser was a smooth paint finish compared to the brush strokes I did with the first dresser. It comes with 3 different size hole nozzles and you can adjust the mist with the knob at the trigger. I highly recommend if you're looking for a low end sprayer to do the job.

I thought I was being smart saving money with this Tilswall. The spray is uneven, it spits clumps of paint everywhere, and the adjustment knob is a terrible design just spins without any indication of what setting you're on. I fought with it for hours and got nowhere. Finally bought the Graco Truecoat 360. It was absolutely worth every single penny. The Graco sprayed smooth, even, perfect finish right out of the box. No clumps, no guesswork, no frustration. This Tilswall is cheaply made and poorly designed. If you actually care about the quality of your project, spend the extra money. I learned my lesson the hard way so you don't have to.
