This paint sprayer impressed me right out of the box with how lightweight it is. I’ve used heavier sprayers before and always had to stop because my arm would get tired, but that was never an issue with this one. It made working through projects much easier and more comfortable. For a paint sprayer under $25, this thing performs surprisingly well. I’m a general contractor with plenty of painting experience, and I picked this up mainly for smaller jobs where I didn’t want to risk messing up my more expensive equipment. It ended up doing a great job. The spray pattern is even, coverage is consistent, and it handled a couple of small projects without any problems. You definitely need to thin your paint for the best results, and because of that you may need an extra coat or two for full coverage. Even so, it is still much faster and easier than using a brush or roller, so the extra pass is worth it. Cleanup is also incredibly simple. Just fill the reservoir with water and spray until it runs clear. Overall, this is an excellent budget-friendly paint sprayer that works better than expected and offers fantastic value for the money.

The first thing I noticed when I picked this up was how light it is. I have used other paint sprayers and always ended up taking breaks because of arm fatigue. That is not an issue with this one, which means I can work through a project without constantly stopping to rest my arm. It sprays evenly and covers well, though thinning your paint is a must. Because of that, you will likely need a couple of coats to get full coverage, but the speed and ease of spraying more than make up for the extra pass. It is still significantly faster and less tedious than a brush or roller. Cleanup is about as easy as it gets. Fill the reservoir with water, spray until it runs clear, and you are done. This is a great paint sprayer that makes easy work of painting tasks around the house and offers very good value for the money.

I love this painter! I would put this on par with the entry level Wagner painter. Note that I've never used one of those before but from what I see at the hardware store, they are about the same size. This one is less than half the price. I do use a professional large airless sprayer from time to time for entire houses, large rooms, barns, etc. SETUP - read the manual. There's not much to it but there is an important part that you should pay attention to. Viscosity or thickness of your paint will really determine how successful you are with this gun. You can use the slump test / viscosity test funnel, or you can wing it like I did and add a little thinner, stir, test, add some more, etc. The goal is to get a 'good enough' output spray that is mostly uniform. Spraying on cardboard is essential. You don't want to start spraying on important things until you get your spray output correct. Otherwise, you'll have a mess. USAGE - I had 4 interior doors I needed to paint. I used PPG door and trim water based paint. This is known to be thicker since it's a more durable washable formula. My first cardboard test proved that I needed to thin it. I did get a spray but it was clumpy. After about 2 oz of water to a full cup of paint, I was spraying at an acceptable broadcast output. Your milage will vary based upon what you are spraying. Back and forth, keep a wet edge. Same pace throughout your painting, slightly overlapping. All the basics. There's enough air coming out to sort of inject the paint into your material. CLEANUP - No one likes this but you have to do it. This one is way easier than my commercial sprayer since there is no hose. Pour out your leftover paint, rinse out the cup and innards of the gun. I use a toothbrush to get as much as I can. Fill it up with water and run 2 full cups through the gun. Spray outdoors or in a bucket. The air flow will blow the output around, be ready for a bit of a mess if you aren't spraying outdoors. PRO TIP - You can leave paint in this gun for a few hours. But, you need to make sure your tip is 100% cleaned off before you take the break. Anything exposed to air will dry, keep this in mind. A wipe with a towel and a wet tooth brush over the tip will clean it off and have it ready when you return. OVERALL - this is a bargain for someone wanting to save a lot of time from brushing. I couldn't be happier. Would I use this daily? No. It is not a commercial level tool. But, it's great for a little home remodeling or restoration of furniture. If I was doing an entire house, deck, or fence, I would use my commercial sprayer. ANY CONS? - Just one. This will blow air constantly even when you're not spraying. Perhaps it is releasing the air pressure from the internal compressor. It would be better if it would auto-start / stop but it doesn't. Not a major problem but if you aren't spraying, you're still blowing a lot of air around.

This little paint sprayer is perfect for smaller jobs. It holds 20 ounces of paint. The perfect amount for a small paint job. It is light weight and plastic. It has a nice light weight cord too. The cord has a 2 prong style plug on the end. The spray end can easily be turned for horizontal or vertical spraying. This makes it very time saving as you can easily get corners or hard to reach places. All of the buttons and knobs are easy to turn and feel very durable. The paint cup comes off very easily and can be cleaned out very easily with some soap and water. Super easy to use. And also very easy to clean it out. I love how light weight this is. Very easy to hold while using it without getting fatigued. Overall a great value for smaller jobs.

I pride myself on writing unbiast reviews and this Tilswall Alien 500 high volume low pressure electric spray paint gun is pretty decent but does not really excel to greatness. I like how the paint gun felt in my hands as I did not get fatigued or weak while using it. This is likely also attributed to how lightweight it is. That said, this is labeled as the first "alien-themed design styled paint sprayer" and I have no idea if I should be thrilled about this amazing power that I hold in my hand as there really isn't anything labeled about what that means. There are four nozzles included that I literally cannot discern as to their difference other than judged by the pictures they represent 1-2mm and do not really correlate to sizes of paint jobs in a linear fashion. Lastly, the photoshopping on this listing is extreme with one picture that clearly shows the paint sprayer being used to paint a doghouse with absolutely no covering or masking tape. C'mon now! Overall this is a decent hobby paint sprayer but with so many compromises it is hard to recommend as a good value proposition when so many name-brand models are on the market. I should know as I own a couple of other power sprayers and they are better than this model. 3/5 stars for these reasons.

I picked this up not expecting a whole lot, but it ended up being a really solid little tool for the price. First off, this is not a professional-grade sprayer, and it doesn’t pretend to be. If you’re doing huge jobs or need flawless, contractor-level results, you’ll probably want to spend a lot more money. But for DIY projects and occasional use, this thing does a great job. I’ve used it on a couple of home projects, and the biggest win is how much time it saves. Jobs that would normally take hours with a brush or roller go by way faster, and the finish comes out pretty even once you get the hang of it. Definitely recommend testing your spray pattern on scrap first—it makes a big difference. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and doesn’t wear your arm out, which I appreciated more than I expected. Cleanup was also pretty straightforward, which is always a huge plus with paint tools. I like that it has adjustable settings and different spray options, so you can tweak it depending on what you’re working on. It handled things like sealers and basic paint without any issues for me. There are a couple minor downsides. The cord could be longer, and it may take a little trial and error to dial everything in. Also, I wouldn’t rely on it for big, heavy-duty projects.
