I compared this blender side by side with my other one in the same price range. Both are similar in size and shape. I also made smoothies with both at the same time. Both did equally well with blending and both did not do well with big cubes of ice. So for me, the rating is based on the look and feel of the blender. The TIKBABA blender is made with good quality material. It has a nice smooth shiny finish. It has a chrome trim and a chrome cap. The glass cup is beautiful. The flip side is you have to be careful not to drop or chip the glass. The TIKBABA blender pays attention to details such as a rubber stopper for the charging port to protect it from water. The hand strap has a matching chrome finish rivet that completes the look. The only negative thing is it is harder to get the rubber sealers out for cleaning as they sit deeper in the grooves. I think it will be harder to put them back in as well. Other than that, this is a great blender albeit on the expensive side. ... show more

This little cordless blender is pretty nice. We already own a Blendjet 2.0, so we compare it to that. This blender holds about 4oz less liquid, and is slightly less powerful, but provides more blends per charge, has a glass jar which makes it quieter, and overall has a higher end finish to it. It is able to blend a protein shake but will not break down all the ice. You'll still have a few chunks left after one cycle. It is also less frothy overall than a shake blended by a Blendjet. This is a great blender for on-the-go, a college dorm room, or your office. I like that to start the blend cycle you have to press the button twice in rapid succession. Can't tell you how many times I pressed the button once and it lit up, but thankfully it didn't start blending. ... show more
