    • The glass is heavy and the stand is lighter than excepted for this heavy glass shade.

Stunning lamp!!! My husband said it was ugly on line but he really liked it when it was light up at night. It has like these green see through glass circles that just stand out so truly beautiful. I do give it a lower star just because the top hangs over and it’s top heavy. You have to screw it in perfectly to balance the lamp. The lamp is beautiful and works. Although I think this style is top heavy and prone to tipping over. So I placed the lamp in a no foot traffic area in my place. The lamp was packed so tightly in the box I had to cut all four corners to get to the lamp. The lamp was wrapped round styrofoam inside the box. Very hard to get the pieces of the lamp out. This product is a HUGE disappointment. The shade is very small and the entire lamp has minimal presentation. The only button to turn it on and off is a floor button so there is no way to put it behind a couch. It also gets so hot even with the bulb that it came with that it’s a serious fire hazard. After being on for just a short while, the lamp shade and part of the base is far too hot to touch and will cause serious burns. I LOVE LOVE these lamps! They completed the look I was aiming for and provide the perfect amount of light. Be sure to purchase your own bulbs as the ones included are "not intended for use". They are just there to make sure the unit works. Expensive, but love them

This is a beautiful lamp. It was well-packed, easy to assemble and looks gorgeous. However it gets extremely hot quite quickly, AND the bulb burned out after ONE EVENING of use!

The lamp itself is very nice. The colors in the lampshade are good. What I don’t like about the lamp is that it is operated by a floor switch. Somehow I missed that in the description.
