This jacket is a game changer for me. I used to have to wear so many layers which sometimes limit movement a bit but now, less layers and this jacket have changed my winter hunting challenges. I love the jacket and with a few layers and this jacket, I can stay out in the cold for a longer period of time. I never ran out of batter and was able to hunt for 3-4 hours and I only stopped after at the most 4 hours as it never took me being out there for a long period of time to get a deer. I was impressed with the initial quality upon opening the box! I bought this jacket for multiple purposes. I like the liner being separate from the jacket, that way I can take the liner out and use it with my dedicated hunting coat. The jacket itself is a very nice material and seems like it will stand up to wind and rain well. I'm looking forward to trying the liner out while hunting this season, as well as using the jacket with and without the liner. I normally wear medium shirts, however I got this as a large. I probably would have been fine with the medium, however the large fits well and has nice adjustment cords at the bottom of both the liner and jacket. If this works like the heated liner I have for riding my motorcycle, it will work best with a thin base layer underneath. These elements are made to have close contact with skin, therefore, having a thick sweatshirt underneath it with another shirt under that won't get the right effect. I tried it out briefly after opening the box and had just a t-shirt on and it started getting warm within about 30-45 seconds. These are meant to provide enough heat to bring your body temp up. I plan to turn it on intermittently while sitting in my tree stand, as well as seeing how it does to keeping it on low for an extended period, so that I can best gauge how well it works. I keep my motorcycle jacket liner turned on the whole time while riding, but that's an entirely different application. I have been fine using heated gloves by turning them on and off as needed while sitting there, so I imagine this will be similar. I do plan on having a spare battery pack with me though! As for now, I am impressed with the jacket and liner both. I will update my review after opportunities to use them in multiple scenarios. ***EDIT*** I've had the chance to use this while hunting in 30° F and snow. I wore it with just a t-shirt underneath and my coveralls and hunting jacket over top. I was warm for a couple of hours after walking into the woods without this being turned on. After sitting and cooling off, I then turned this on to low and stayed warm after feeling the elements activate very quickly. I was at roughly 60% after about 3 hours of use and plugged it in to charge during lunch. I went back out for about 5 hours in the afternoon and had the same experience as in the morning. As the snow continued to fall and temperature dropped, I turned up to medium and was nice and toasty. This is definitely designed to be worn as closely to the skin as possible for best results. I could feel the heat come on quickly and evenly. This is well worth the price for the liner alone, but having the outer shell to use with it, on its own, or in combinations is a huge plus!

after reading the reviews, I was very cautious. I messaged the seller as I didn't understand the size guide. They messaged back very quickly with a medium recommendation. unfortunately they rounded up and I am returning this for a small. most people don't include any measurements in their reviews, so I hope this helps. "Hello, I am reviewing the size guide and would like to confirm. Based on the guide, I would fit a Medium, while a review of a 5', 100 lb teenagers' mother said the small fit him perfectly. I am 190, 6'2'', 34' waist, 42' hip, 42' chest, 50' shoulders, and 27' arm length. what size would your company recommend for best fit?" As for the product, I am blown away. Today it was 22 degrees, I was in and out of the house and while outside I was warm!! great quality!! Amazon quoted shipping time as 9 days, it was in my box in 4!!!
