Like most parents, I want to make sure my kiddo is safe in this big wide world without exposing him to an overload of screen freedom. This watch fit the bill perfectly. It's definitely set up for a younger child to use easily - the texting specifically does not allow for any actual typing (which is a bit young for my slightly older kiddo), however the interface is clean, the phone works well and he loves being able to contact us and other immediate family members himself. He also loves the other gadgets and the fitness tracker. I love that the watch rejects all unknown numbers and texts. The parent app is easy to use and control and the service to connect it to AT&T is inexpensive. Like any cell phone, the battery usually lasts the full day and we put it on the charging base overnight. It also has a superb "goodnight" feature which puts the watch "to sleep" during the overnight hours when he should be sleeping an not using tech. The only thing I wish it had was a few little games. My kiddo keeps a second "watch" on a lanyard that has several simple games which really help when we're waiting in line at the grocery store or other more boring place. They're enough to provide some occupation without being addicting in the way that smartphone games are. Overall, we're super happy with this watch.

This is an EXCELLENT watch with really great features! I just bought it yesterday and it arrived today on Prime! The watch itself is pretty, lightweight and user friendly. My 7 year old was so excited and already is able to use it as needed. I love how the contacts are controlled by the parents in the app. I love how she can send voice messages, call me on FaceTime and I can drop in and just listen to the background while muted, if needed. I bought this for my daughter since she will be going to swim camp. It’s the PERFECT gift for any young child. Love that it also has the GPS tracker! Cute emojis, she loves her Disney playlists! 5 stars

Great kids watch, sturdy, with an easy user experience for kids. The parental app, which you download on your phone, is really good with loads of safety options and gps tracking. Only issue I have with the watch, is with the wristband, as it could be a little longer. My Son is 12 and he has to use the last hole. The company could offer to sell additional wristbands sizes (regular and long) with maybe a different material, like the fabric/velcro one they offered on the Ticktalk 3. It's an accessory I would definitely buy. But overall, this is a nice product and one I would recommend to any parent.

I got the TickTalk 5 smartwatch for my 8-year-old daughter and we’ve both been really happy with it! She loves wearing it and feels very grown-up being able to call or message us. I did a lot of research in trying to find the right watch for my 7 year old. I initially just wanted to track his location but this watch allows him to call me, face call me, talk to text and see his location. This has all come in very handy. It allows you to see and control (calls, texts, contacts) from the parent app. He wears it all day and we haven’t had any issues with the battery. My complaints are: since it may ping the location from WiFi or a cellular tower sometimes it takes a while before the accurate location pulls up and definitely not as precise as an Apple location. It’s not water proof. And it would be nice if this watch included geo fencing so you would be notified if they left a certain area. Overall, great watch.

I got this for my son’s upcoming birthday but had to buy it ahead since he’s been going out pretty much everyday to play with his friends and Im glad I invested in this because it gave me a peace of mind when he’s out since I can track him real time. He can also call me anytime if he needs to and boy, im getting 20 calls from him everyday. He loves wearing it and would def get another one for my other son.
