This thing is great! My daughter loves it and my wife and I love that we can get in touch with her whenever we need to. I like that there’s an option to constantly track or to momentarily select tracking to reserve battery. The battery does seem to deplete fairly quickly when using consistently. The parent app allows you to track the battery life along with pretty much anything else you’d want to see. It has all the typical abilities of a regular phone for messaging, including video and photo texting, talk to text, etc. Setting up the plan was very quick and easy, and I like that there are different options, depending on how much data usage and call time you need. All in all, seems to be a great product!

So far, it’s a very good watch. The calls are very nice. The video calls are a bit laggy but I think it’s because of the camera itself. The GPS tracking is somewhat inaccurate, but all I need to know is if he’s at school. I can also listen to his surroundings via the remote answer which is a piece of mind making sure he’s actually doing well. Connectivity is good, value for money is there. The watch is waterproof and extra durable. The color we got is white and my son loves it!

I think this is a great product! It’s good quality Audio. I believe it’s a fair price for watch and monthly subscription. We live in a small town where reception can be tricky however it works really well. Activating and setting up watch is really easy and simple! When it comes to the gps if it’s reading and incorrectly you can fix accuracy on TickTalk app. it’s a good neutral color. once hooked up to Wi-Fi, it’s really easy to sync content onto the watch. The only thing I’m having trouble with at the moment is the band size and being able to find a bigger replacement.

Love this watch so far. It’s cute and fits my 11 year old well. I love how easy it was to set up and the monthly plan is only $25 per month for unlimited talk and text with data. I got this for my daughter as she’s in middle school this year and will have to take the bus some days, it’s a great way to track her location and keep in touch with her. I was able to add all contacts for her so the parent can control who she’s able to speak to on the watch. It has a lot of cool functions as well. Overall a good purchase and I highly recommend to parent who don’t want their kids to have a phone yet but want to be able to track and stay in contact with their kids!

I’ve been using the TickTalk 5 for a while now, and I’m very impressed. The GPS tracking is accurate and gives me peace of mind knowing where my child is at all times. The call quality is clear, and video calls work surprisingly well for a kids’ smartwatch. The battery lasts a full day with normal use, and the build quality feels durable enough for active kids. The companion app is user-friendly and allows me to control settings, set safe zones, and monitor activity easily. I also like that the watch has messaging, step tracking, and customizable watch faces. My only small complaint is that it’s a bit bulky for smaller wrists, but it’s worth it for all the features it offers. Overall, a great smartwatch for kids with reliable GPS and communication features.

**EDIT 6/28: lowered from 4 stars to 3 stars, see additional info below Just received today, so these are only my initial impressions and I may update after further use. Definitely a bit bulky on my 8yo's wrist, but doesn't seem to bother him. Very adjustable, nice band. **EDIT 6/28: the buckle is actually quite uncomfortable for him, not sure why the back side of the buckle is positioned against the wrist instead of on top of the band. The location was immediately slightly off, showing our neighbor's backyard instead of inside our house, but was very easy to correct with the smart pin function. Curious to see once he's using it more. Would also love a geofencing feature, though I understand it could be problematic with the inaccuracies. Would still appreciate the option to use though. **EDIT 6/28: location is almost always wrong, sometimes showing a completely different US State. Again, easy to correct with the smart pin feature, but nearly gives me a heart attack every time. I've learned it uses public wifi first, before using GPS or cell towers, which I find to be highly inaccurate given the common use of VPNs these days. Should use GPS first. Easy to setup. Was a little disappointed that it doesn't use regular sms, whereby added contacts could use their native messaging app instead of the dedicated app. Nice they can at least call without the app though. Would love for contact-restricted sms in the future. Would be nice if the screen could be turned on by a double tap instead of just the power button, but appreciate the ability to adjust the timeout. Also would love option to switch from alphabetical keyboard (for younger users) to a querty keyboard (for older users that are learning to type in school). Additional suggestion would be to allow app reorder to customize the apps child uses the most. All in all seems very rugged and I definitely appreciate the contract free plans. Happy with my purchase, but hoping for added features in the future.
