This bathing suit is fantastic. The material is great including the lining. Very comfortable and can wear them on hikes to alpine lakes, beaches, or just float down a river. I was looking for a good bathing suit to hike in and this is absolutely perfect and just what I was looking for. The only thing I would say is that I tend to wear a medium in most shorts/bathing suits, but I sized up to a large based on the description and the large was perfect. I looked at all the options that come up when we search “men’s swim shorts” and first noticed how many options Maamgic offers with colors and size of inseams. I wanted a change from the normal board shorts that come in a solid color that didn’t scream d-bag or frat boy. I’m 5’09 (5’10” on a great day when I’m lying) and range from 185-190 depending on how many cheat meals that week. Pant size is 32x30 and I wear shorts from Vuori and Costco in size medium. I ordered the Medium and they fit perfect. I have an athletic build, but I don’t have huge thighs, so the quad area has about 2 inches of material I can pinch while standing. The fit through the rear and waist is fitted and looks great. The 7” inseam sits right above my knee while standing and when I sit you can see about an inch of the compression short underneath and goes mid thigh. Doesn’t bother me at all and has a modern fit. I also bought the 5” inseam Maamgic shorts and they rest just below mid-thigh while standing and then go above mid-thigh while sitting. Definitely a noticeable length shorter so if that helps you, great. I like both sizes and will wear each depending on the environment. The shorts are very quick drying material, BUT the material used for the compression short underneath is not quick drying so that is my only negative. Quality material, beautiful vibrant colors, and thick enough with the u beneath compression to never be see through. These are the summer shorts you’re looking for.

The advice I read to size up if you’re unsure was solid. I’m a 38+ waist and the XXL fits perfectly. Definitely happy with these - was able to buy two pairs for the price of other fancy label brands. Great quality!

I usually buy a different brand that are twice as expensive. The liner in these is great, the other brand the liner claims to be a compression liner but it’s pretty short and flimsy. These shorts are not only comfortable but they have tons of designs. I’m 6’ about 190lbs and the large is perfect. Can almost get by without using the drawing string, but it’s there just to make sure they don’t fall off.
