Terrific build quality; rugged and able to withstand abuse. Cleans up well and as far as utility goes just fill 'er up with rocks, gravel, sand and drop it in the pond. I have been running mine for several months now without any clogging or the air line detaching. Just what you want - a no/low maintenance air diffuser. It's well work the cost versus the stone diffusers that clog and won't stay put. I am buying a second one to eliminate all those poor quality stone diffusers that waste my time by requiring constant maintenance

This one is a must have. Water moves nicely and I don't find it loud at all! Purchased is a few months back and I use it continuously without any problem. This aerator creates a great bubble flow and its very durable. Nice compact unit that I highly recommend. My pond has never looked better :)

I was tired of the air stones always getting dirty and clogging. This has a rubber membrane that I don't think will clog like the air stones do. Also after filling it with sand I almost couldn't pick it up. It has stayed at the bottom of my 4" deep pond and the fish cant move it. Plus I had racoons that used to take the air stones out and they cant move this. A++
