This bike seat is amazing. From easy installation to the look and feel of it. It’s nice and lightweight and it fit on my E-bike perfectly. It’s definitely worth every penny. I really love that you can take it on and off so easily but when it’s on there it’s on there. My son even loves sitting in it and he seems very comfortable for longer rides. The one that that really stands out to me is how much room there is between me and the seat. Other bike seats the main complaint was people basically being in their child’s lap but not with this one. This seat fits perfectly with my Aventon Abound Ebike or my parent’s Lectric XP Step-thru. It came set up and ready to go. It does stink that it is a little pricey but at this time my kiddo is on the smaller side so we will be able to use it for a while. We have a different bike seat on the Lectric bikes and my kiddo gets frustrated and upset in that seat after 5 miles. I thought I would take the plunge and order this more expensive rack mounted bike seat to ride around with my 1 year old. I knew if some German friends could rate it highly then it had to have some merit. It took about 5 minutes to actually mount it on my bike rack--super easy! Adjusting the straps took a little bit longer but no problems there. It felt stable our whole ride and my baby seemed comfortable and had fun! Not to mention, it's pretty dang cool. Now that my child is almost 3. She wants to adventure around and what better way for us both to check what's around the city by bicycling around. The Thule Yepp Maxi 2 is a great addition to my ebike. My child seats comfortably and loves the rides, even for long periods rides (20 minutes+) there is no complaints. The install was very straightforward, literally twisting the knob until the clamps hold the seat in place and then locking it with the keys. Unlocking and removing the seat is just the same which makes it really easy to add or remove the seat. However with it being lightweight I don't even bother if I go on solo rides to remove it. I just returned a less expensive bike seat, it would not mount on my bike. I bought this and it was perfect. Fully assembled, I just bolted the seat mount to the frame with 4 bolts and slide the bike seat on. Fully adjustable to go forward & back and adjusts for various leg lengths. Very sturdy, put our grandson, 18 months old 30 lbs, on and he loved the ride. Also has a key lock to remove seat when not giving children a ride.
