I have tried all the higher end front mounted kids bike seats, This one is by far the best. Main use: Riding around town with my 5 year old. Out of the box it’s extremely easy to attach. Fits almost any bike. The handle bars fold down when not in use which makes for extremely easy storage. The seat fits very securely to the bike frame. The seat also sits fairly close to my seat which Keeps my child cradled between my arms and legs as we ride through the city. That gives me extra comfort knowing I can quickly grab on to my child in and emergency. 100% recommend this seat!

Works on Lectric XP4, with the caveat that you have to stretch out the unit and lay it flat across the front of the bike. It will not fit in the wider frame of the bike if you put it at a 90° angle like it’s supposed to be installed. It seems like it works fine, my daughter just keeps her feet up flat, instead of hanging down. She doesn’t mind, and we’ve done multiple long bike rides. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what unit would work for us because I needed a kid behind me as well as in front of me. This definitely does the ticket and it seems like it’s good quality. We’ve also driven 3 to 4000 miles with it installed on the bike, and no issues.

I was hesitant to purchase after reading some of the negative reviews, but ended up going for it cause I didn’t wanna pay the price of the next best option like the Kids ride Shotgun. Buying the UrRider model with the foot straps prevents the child’s feet from slipping off and potentially getting caught in the front tire, which many negative reviews mentioned. I have a very tall 3 year old, almost 4 ft, and he rides on it just fine. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase, it does exactly what I needed and incredibly easy installation. Feels safe enough, although make sure your child is old enough to understand the importance of safety and how to hold on. My son and I feel safest when he holds onto the handle bars with me instead of the front fork handle of the UrRider, but he can easily reach around it. Only four stars cause I do have to pedal with my legs wide in order for him to fit, but I was expecting that after reading reviews. The seat isn’t the most comfortable unfortunately so might be uncomfortable on longer rides.

Thanks to other reviewers I found this bike seat. It works amazingly well for my family. We do not own a car, we walk and bike a lot, and live in NYC. I have a 5 y.o. son and he fits into this seat and loves it (he is 40 lb/3.5 feet tall). It takes a few minutes to install it and under a minute to take it down. It is pretty lightweight and compact to carry around. Thank you the inventors! I wish it was legal to use, and came with bike share programs as duh, actually kids and families ride shared bikes together. Notes, it does not work with electric city bikes (they have wider posts).

What a fun seat for our daughter! she loved sitting in it. It definitely has a short life of use as your child must be steady enough to hold themselves up with any straps or supports, but they also have to be short enough to have their head sit underneath your head. If you have a tall child, and you are short - this might not be a good fit. The child fits very snuggly in between your legs. You do have to bow out your legs a bit to avoid hitting your child. It wouldn't be fun for a super long ride or safe for a bumpy / hilly ride - but really fun for short trips.

Got this as a replacement for a Do Little child bike seat as it didn’t work for a new electric bike. We have the Lectric XP 3.0. The stem clamp is a bit small for our seat post so it’s difficult to get the child seat on, but we were able to make it work. However, the child seat slides down the post because the fit isn’t right so she sits lower than I would like and my knees hit her while I peddle. . Additionally, after one use, it scratched the paint where the rubber piece sits on the frame. Would suggest putting down some protection of some kind to protect the bike. On the plus side, my kid really likes the seat and it does as advertised. I like how it folds up easy for storage when not using and the bag is a nice. I’m not sure it’s worth the sticker price, but it’s difficult to find a low profile bike seat that works for all bikes.

I had been searching for something like this for a while. My 5yo is too big for traditional infant type bike seats, but There are still times I want to bike without having to worry about her tiring quickly or going slow on her own bike. This works really well. There are similar products but most only fit mountain bikes, this product works well on my beach cruiser. I worried it would be hard to balance or pedal since she is a bigger kid but it was a comfortable ride for both of us. My thighs do rub against her hips while I pedal but it’s nothing uncomfortable. The install was a little confusing to me because the written instructions are not very detailed, but they have an instal video which was much easier. Once I understood how it attached it was very easy to put on, and would be simple to remove and replace as needed. Very happy with this purchase. This has given us extra freedom to bike further and it’s been a lot of fun.
