These brakes definitely do not live up to the standards I am used to with Thule. Installation was a pain, the handle feels cheap, and, worst of all, the brakes cannot be tuned to provide any significant stopping power.     • too expensive, cheaply made, too much work to install, not actually effective.
Basically its a rip off that this the base stroller didn't include quality brakes installed. Its not trivial to install this kit, and tuning each wheel to actually provide any braking power takes patience. I find the balance between no rub on brakes when brake not applied and tight enough to provide stopping power even at full rotation of the handle to be razor thin and needing constant tweaking. To engage the brake , you rotate the center of the bar. I don't run with one hand on the center, and really hard to keep things balanced while hoping to stop this way, especially since each brake needs independent adjustment. This is a total joke compared to brakes on a bob stroller. I ended up buying a mtn bike dual brake lever that I can hopefully install to replace the silly handle thing. if not, i'll just take it back off. Also my kit was missing the cable clips. probably the least critical piece, but still annoying. ... show more

I don't know what they mean by brake but this definitely did not work at ALL! My husband installed it following the directions we tried it and it was like nothing no resistance at all not even a bit. The we tried again thinking we might have missed something and again nothing, I was expecting a sort break from a bike feel but again nothing not even me not pushing it this thing made a difference so very very disappointed about this. I really really wanted and needed this to work but obviously will return.........for 100 I will expect some difference but nada at all!! :-( ... show more
