I was hesitant to spend so much on a belt without being able to see it or try it on. Finding bigger belts that aren't garbage is always a toss up but so far I've been pleased with the quality. I plan on almost daily wear so I'll come back in a few months to review how it's holding up.

Already possessing a similar belt, I was intrigued with the fact that this one has a black buckle (matching the rest of the belt unlike the one I already have) and that there are a few rows of studs on the belt past the point where it goes through the keeper (and on the keeper as well) giving it a more continuous look around the waist. These attributes prompted me to purchase this permutation of this style belt. On inspection of the belt however, one disappointment is that the studs have a matte, rather than gloss, finish which I find preferable on the belt I already have. And while the studs on the keeper and on the belt section that passes through the keeper were an initial attraction, those studs make it somewhat difficult to get the belt through the keeper. The additional force needed may mean those studs will lose their finish color, and, possibly eventually loosen and fall off and leave that part of the belt looking damaged. While the belt is advertised as being 100% genuine leather, the quality seems somewhat lacking in that it is fairly stiff and is already showing signs of stress marks in the area of the buckle where it is necessary to bend the belt significantly when putting on. Overall, the appearance is definitely appealing (although it would be even better had the studs had a glossy rather than matte finish) but the durability may be lacking. Remember when you were in your teens and you bought a cheap studded belt that would rip across a row of studs? Because of the price, I didn't expect much from this belt. No, this isn't anything like the $20 belt you can buy at Tillys, but for $40 (what I paid at the time) I didn't expect that much more. To my surprise the belt looked to be substantially better than the Tillys belt of my youth. It smelled like genuine leather and felt great. I would say the fit is accurate. I ordered a size 36 and it fits my size 31 waist on the first opening. Fast forward to 2021 and this belt is still holding up strong. I don't use this every single day. I would say 2-3 days a week. It's still black, a little scuffed along the loop area which shows some of the raw hide underneath, and some of the black has rubbed off on certain studs, but overall it looks fantastic and I don't foresee it breaking or falling apart for many years. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and didn't expect it to last this long or hold up so well because of the low price and because I am not able to see it in person before buying. If you're hesitant about purchasing online from a third party, don't be. I purchased my belt from onlinebelts and I see they are still here. Hopefully the quality has remained the same or gotten better. Quite a lot has happened since 2018. ... show more

Not a bad belt. Not the same quality as another one I purchased from Amazon with an antique finish. For the money a good deal. Fits a belt buckle nicely. Only one real complaint is that it does stretch so if you buy a size bigger than you normally wear not the best idea. Another suggestion is to run some fabric tape on the back side of the belt to keep the spikes from loosening up and ruining pants or getting lost. ... show more
