I got this thinking we could use as one large sleeping bag or as two singles. We couldnt get it to unzip. The zipper was very tricky and hard to move.

    • Won't Work In Super Cold Climate
This isn't designed to handle extreme cold weather. I would probably be okay using this with snow on the ground, but maybe not colder than 20 degrees F, but only if I HAD TO! Be sure to fluff it up, because it's pretty compressed when it arrives. It'll also compress when you store it, so make sure you fluff anytime you use it really. This isn't soft or cuddly and also makes a lot of noise when you move it around, and if you're like me, when camping I already sleep lightly. Not horrible, but it's why I'm not a huge fan of this. If it were soft and quiet, I'd be all over it! Other than that, this works well enough. ... show more

I am a plus size person, so I always prefer double sleeping bags. I have had 1 other double and this is much larger than that one. I have plenty of space. Even as a heavy person, another person could fit in with me snuggly if needed, so there is more than enough room for me. I used it in the mountains - temp was in the low 50's and it was very warm. The zippers were normal, no snag, but I didnt feel they were "heavy duty". I dont foresee having any issues with build quality on the bag or zippers. It feels like construction is sturdy. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a lot of room, in a cozy warm bag. ... show more
