I wear a women’s 9-9.5 B typically I got the men’s 7. When I first got them I was working (industrial roofing) in the winter 6 days a week 12-14 hrs a day... and they honestly were uncomfortable, not sure if it’s because maybe men’s boots need more weight to break in or what, but I got different insoles and they are now awesome. They also were uncomfortable around the pinky toe, which I’ve never experienced before, so I had blisters for a bit... but honestly besides those two things they are really great. Step on a nail and it doesn’t go through, minimal signs of wear, the laces are crazy... never had laces that don’t fray, as long as you regularly polish they are waterproof, now I wear them around the house and forget I have them on, the ankle support is awesome, good traction (haven’t been on anything steeper than a 9/12 yet but they were great on that in case you prefer boots to sneakers on pitched roofs), easy to use if you have to climb scaffold ladders, mud comes off easy, overall a great boot. ... show more

I’m honestly pretty disappointed. Several of my co workers swear by these boots. I finally caved with the investment after suffering with other boots ( and spending hundreds of dollars) Within a month the front of the sole is detaching. After contacting the seller, and stressing I wear these to work 6 days a week, I learned I have to go without them to be inspected before I replacement could be processed. That’s not really feasible for working people who depend on having proper work boots. For a “Made in the USA” product, I would expect them to understand that their product is defective and not expect hard working people to go without their boots. Currently waiting to a response from Thorogood themselves I hope to be able to add to this review to keep others aware of the process should they have this problem. The boots themselves are heaven on my feet. And I am so discouraged to think I will either have to have to pay to repair them so soon, or spend MORE money to have boots to go to work in for the “inspection” time. ... show more
