Not at all what I expected them to be. Overall. You can tell they are put together nicely. Personally, they are incredibly uncomfortable. Unlike anything I’ve ever worn. I wore them for two shifts. I bought these to replace a previous pair of lace up Thorogood Work boots. The uppers are a comfortable size (not too loose or tight). The boot itself fits perfectly out the box. I know there will be about a 2 week break in. the soles are my only complaint. they're a foamy material, with a thin layer of rubber on the top. the bottom part, which makes up 99% of the sole. will melt on concrete after a bit, and will wear out. otherwise, they're beautiful. get your right size, they fit beautifully and are comfortable with no breaking in. the leather is nice and smooth, the stitching is magnificent and the soles don't look like they'll fall off anytime soon. will update. ... show more

I like the quality leather these boots are made of. The fit though is small to size. The warranty is laughable, must be returned to the seller for warranty service. The warranty does not cover size issues. I wear a 8 1/2 in every boot or shoe imaginable and never have had such an uncomfortable fit as this. Reading other reviews, I see I am not the only one that spent a lot of money for a product that cannot be worn without pain. ... show more
