You always test products like these and we did. It would definitely bring alarm to anyone in close proximity. Even more inside. Outside it may depend on how noisy. I suggest using at a distraction to scare off and to get somewhere safe, quickly and call 911. Unless it spooks them away. But always be on guard ... show more

It works but random chirps. Usually if it is touched or moved. Even after full charge it will chirp often once or sometimes many times in a row.. annoying
