If your child is into Thomas the train or trains in general, this is a great advent calendar. It is 24 mini trains, which is what made me purchase it to begin with. So many advent calendars have some objects that a child won’t be excited about, but with this being a train every day, it kept my son’s interest through out the entire month of December. When fully opened, the outside of the box is a train track and thick enough that it hasn’t gotten ruined and can continue to be used to date. My 3 turning 4 year old son recently got into Thomas & Friends. I saw this here on Amazon & thought wow that’s kind of a lot for an advent calendar. Let me tell you, absolutely worth it!!! This is my son’s favorite thing. He SO looks forward to opening a new mini train each day, he wakes up super early to do so. Each & every mini toy train is Christmas/winter themed & just absolutely adorable. They really move & the play mat that comes with them is sturdy & great to play on. Soooo glad I got this for him. This Mini-Thomas the Tank Engine Advent Calendar was a HUGE hit with my almost 3-year-old grandson this past Christmas season. The mini-engines are high quality and very appealingly decorated. I would purchase again and high recommend!

My son absolutely LOVED waking up every morning and getting to pick his new train! He's obsessed with thomas! They're so small and cute but so amazingly detailed! None of the trains have broke so far, they seem like they're great quality! We might have to buy this again next year!

We use these every year for the last several years for our Thomas loving son, and they never fail! 2023 had several unique Christmas / winter themed trains and he loves getting new ones every year! Fantastic advent calendar!

My 7 year old was quite enamored with the Thomas the Tank engine advent calendar. He enjoyed opening the advent calendar dates to reveal a Mini train. These Mini trains are durable and roll well. The designs are unique and do not repeat.

    • HUGE HIT with 2-1/2 year old boy!
Every day, first thing in the morning...this was a great purchase:) however, the trains are only little (maybe an inch and a half!) so if your child is still in "taste everything" phase, I wouldn't suggest.
