Scissors are VERY SHARP! Be careful when using them - they cut so easily that you could remove a fleek of skin off the hide of an ear or off the hide of your dog if you groom your pup! They feel good in my hand, work great and appear to be well made. Should last a long time - may need sharpening eventually, but that’s to be expected. I got these to groom my 2 Shih-Tzu’s to save money on grooming. They serve that purpose quite well, too! Happy with my purchase!

Since COVID hit, my wife and I have been cutting each other's hair rather than going to a stylist. This practice started when our stylist refused to wear a mask during the early phase of COVID-19. We didn't feel comfortable having her in that close proximity to our face and her being unwilling to wear a mask. So - we got clippers, scissors and ultimately these thinning shears and started cutting hair for each other. It has resulted in quite a savings over the past four years plus we can easily schedule our cuttings to meet our schedule and never have to leave home. These thinning shears work well - I tend to have a bit of a "cowlick" with some stubborn hair, and this things the hair out to the point it can properly be combed and hold. I strongly recommend using YouTube to find out the proper way to use thinning shears properly, otherwise you can cause more damage than good. These shears have worked very well - they're not that expensive, but serve the purpose well.

I really didn't hold out much hope that these scissors were going to be anything more than I temporary replacement pair for the scissors I left back at home while on an extended vacation I was on. I just needed a pair of scissors to cut hair with and found these on Amazon for really really cheap and since it wasn't much money I took the chance just planning on them maybe getting through one haircut. But to my amazement they have now become my number one pair of scissors that I use for cutting hair. I love that they can be easily separated in order to give them a quick run down a leather strop and they're back to being razor sharp. I would definitely buy these again without question. Save yourself a few bucks and you'll be happy you did. Can't go wrong. Love them. Love the price.

These were ok but went dull quick. I still use them to cut threads and things like that but after cutting hair a couple times weren’t sharp enough for me. But I used to professionally cut hair I’m hard to please I just bought these to trim my granddaughters bangs. They done ok. I have since invested in pro scissors.
