  • Nice router
Works great for little projects. Gota take your time though, if you start going to fast you can hear the router bog down

  • Better then expected
For the price I was expecting a much cheaper quality tool. I am pleasantly surprised with how durable this tool is. It spins with some torque and holds the bits very well. The only downside to this is, it is very loud and takes a while to stop spinning after powering off. This is compared to my larger name brand router. I still recommend this. ... show more

IS GOOD FOR SMALL JOBS LITTLE UNSTABLE AND VIBRATES A LOT

  • Well, it works
The first one came cross threaded so when I slid in the first bit and tightened it, it was impossible to break loose. They sent a replacement and it does the job, the biggest issue I had was power, which I expected somewhat. This works best with a lot of very shallow passes. The flush trim bits aren't too useful seeing as you can't just run through a sheet of half inch plywood without it bogging down. But this does shine on edge profiles. If you intend to use it for round overs and chamfers you should be good. ... show more

  • Plenty of power for the month, not so great quality control, awesome customer service!
UPDATED 26-May-2023: I RARELY update a rating purely based on customer service. I REFUSE to if a company pushes me to (even when they offer free stuff). TOTALLY UNETHICAL! Now to the heart of my update on this one. I can't believe how fast this seller responds. Compared to 90% of other sellers on Amazon I've dealt with it's unreal. They responded overnight every single time I contacted them with questions. They fully resolved the issue I had with my new router. Stunning. I still believe this version of the router has some very substandard parts on the foot (the router itself is great!) but I have to say the seller has been stellar. And customer service matters when so many do not stand behind their products. Well done THINKWORK. Well done, indeed. _____________________ I was worried this was going to be super cheaply made for the cost. I thought it would be underpowered at this price, but it feels solid and worked like a charm edging some pine desktops I needed. The little cam cog that is used to adjust the depth was cracked upon receipt. It was not a shipping thing, it's really thin and cheap. Also, the screw heads in the foot are SHARP. I didn't notice and it wound up scarring one of my projects irreparably. Really bad. I'm still going to use the board, but I can't use it for finished work now. I bought and replaced the screws with flat ones. $80 down the drain for that nice piece of pine. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at the feel of moving it and the smoothness of the included bits, but those QC issues shouldn't have happened, even at this price. ... show more

  • Powerful. But that's it.
Everything else about the router is flimsy. 1. The wrenches bent the same day I used it - had to buy from Home Depot. 2. There was a butterfly nut missing so I can't use the linear guide that came with it. 3. It's powerful but you can't control it because the guides are so damn flimsy. It works. As a tool. But not as a very useful or accurate tool because EVERYTHING ELSE is flimsy so you can't do much with it. Except cut something. Barely. Because every attachment is so flimsy...😔 I had high hopes and I probably can't return it because I've tried everything to make it work and it looks like it went to war. And I want it. Might have to make a guide like I saw on YouTube. Hopefully that will salvage the router because of EVERYTHING ELSE being so shoddy. 🥺 ... show more

  • Easy to use
Easy and simple to use . My first project was a router table.

  • Nice little router for light duty use.
When you crank this little router up you will be more than satisfied. It has the power and flexibility I need for those smaller yet demanding jobs. I have used the included bits as well as my other bits and the cuts are smooth and precise. The instructions are not as clear as I would have liked, especially if you are a beginner. You will be able to figure things out after a practice cut or two. Experienced router users may have to "suspend" their usual approach and adjust accordingly. Still, newbie or veteran, this router will perform as nicely or better than others in this price range. A more anti-slip coating or strip would have just pushed this over the top. So far, no problems after quite a few uses. ... show more
