I am reviewing: Shipping Scale, 86lb/0.1oz Postal Scale with Hold and Tare, Scale for Packages, LCD Display, Postage Scale, Mail Scale, Shipping Scale for Small Business, Batteries & AC Adapter I set this up today to use for the first time. I need to send a package. Going through the setup instructions for calibrating the scale, it is unclear if they are using a particular number for illustration purposes, or if they want you to actually use that number. Instructions say that once in the proper mode, you should put something that weights 28lbs onto the scale and verify that it reads 28 lbs. If I knew what my stuff weighted, I would not need a postage scale. So, I used a food scale to weight something that came up to 4. 48lbs. I tried it out on this scale and adjusted the weight to 4. 5lbs because there isn't another position available. It gave the success signal. So, I went to weigh my box, expecting to use the "hold" function. Says to leave the box on the scale for 5 seconds to activate the hold. Every time I took the box off, the hold went away. Evidently you have to remove it pretty quickly after the 5 seconds or it goes away. That hold should stay there until you hit the button to release it. Also, viewing the readout isn't easy. It would be nice to have back light instead of just a tiny dark screen under a 30 lb box. So irritating. And one more thing, it doesn't seem go weigh anything under 3lbs. Seriously??? The machine seems very light and made of rigid plastic of questionable quality. All of this leads me to be suspicious of the accuracy of this scale. Hopefully I won't have issues at the post office with my click-N-ship postage label. I gave this the 4 stars only because it was cheap.

This scale is perfect for where I need to store it and it has up to 86 lb capacity. I was hoping to get this in a mint green or teal but they did not have it so I got pink Not dissappointed. Comes with an ac/dc plug and batteries. easy to use and has instructions you can use this weigh anything from jewelry by the gram to a heavy pkg upto weight max. Great deal.
