These scales are nice and they work great. I just didn't realize how small they are. It was my fault I didn't notice the base dimensions of these. If you plan to weigh parcel boxes; I'd look for a scale that has a much larger base; you need something that's closer to 20"x20" surface.

I bought this scale to weigh small items, but it works for heavier items too. It is easy to set up and use. There is a tare weight option so you can weigh the box or package first, put in that weight as tare and then get the actual weight of the item. Batteries last a good amount of time too. I do recommend it.
