I love this dress!! I have purchased 5 of them, so far, all in black! A couple of different sizes have made it into my closet:one perfect fit for the ideal date night or go out dress and others in a variety of looseness for lounging, working at home, going to the store, "that cute oversized look", cover up for bathing suits. They don't attract dog fur!!! I have 3 white dogs and it has been so hard to find a dress that is cute and dog hair resilient. It is wonderful for trekking in the rain (I live on the coast, and our beach weather divides the time between 90 percent high humidity and rain). I wore one of these beauty's every day when the heat index was over 110 and humidity over 70 percent. No stains, wetness, etc. throw in the wash, dry on low, and they come out looking like brand new! I spilled ranch dressing on one and it didn't stain. I love, love these!! Highly recommend if they have your size. Be aware, Columbia straight sizes seem to run a little small on me, so pay attention on the size chart if you do choose one.

I am an almost plus sized gal. I generally wear between a 14 and 16. My measurements are proportional, but it is obvious I have had children and I have a tummy bulge. I put on this dress and all the flaws disappear! The length is slightly shorter than I usually wear. I am 5"6 and I take up some length via being full busted as well. I am not sure if I will wear this to work in the summer, but I loved it enough to buy a second and will definitely use it for work with leggings and a sweater in the fall/winter.I will also use it like crazy for just about everything in the summer! Very slenderizing fit, fits well even if you are full busted. I ordered the XL. More colors please in this very versatile and flattering dress! Red? Coral? Deep purple? I had to come back and edit my review. I just bought my third!!! I travel for work. I can wear this dress as a slip, as a nightgown, as a dress under a nice jacket, it is smooth enough to wear as a "tank" under a skirt, and even over black leggings with a cute sweater or jacket! It belts easily, It washes in the sink and dries in a couple of hours. My very favorite way to wear it, other than just on its own, is with a double layer silk sari skirt worn as a jacket!! I am a tiny bit afraid that it will pick or pill over time, but so far so good. I would NOT machine wash or dry it, it is not necessary and I think it would degrade the fabric. Great dress, super comfortable and lightweight. Size chart is ccurate. Disappointed with shipping as the item looked like it was thrown into a box, and the bag I assume it was originally in was in the bottom with a large hole in it.

Amazon dresses are seldom long enough to be modest for me. This dress was plenty long enough, very light and comfortable, and does not wrinkle. Washed and hung up to dry and it kept its length and shape. Flattering to my curvy body and true to size. I am 6’0 tall and this dress was about 2 inches about the knee. I bought another color and they fit exactly the same. Love it!

Have several of these dresses - they are fantastic in warm, humid weather. And most of the time the Columbia dresses coordinate with other shirts so you can wear together to make a nice outfit. The navy however is shiny and doesn't match the Columbia navy shirts. They're ok to wear together but it looks a shade off.

I saw?all the positive reviews on how versatile it is so I took a chance. I'm very disappointed. The fabric is a sporty bathing suit fabric. It has a slight sheen to it that makes it look like swim wear. You cannot dress thus fabric up in any way. It looks sloppy. It alsi has a giant white triangle on the back that says "pfg" and the brand really big. It looks horrible on the black dress. The cut is shapeless. It doesn't cling but it fits like a sloppy night gown. I worried about the length. The xxl us probably about 38 inches or 39 long. I'm 5'7" and the length was above the knee but wearable. That's the only good thing about it. The neck was wide so the straps done match great with my bra strap. And no pockets of course. I think it's only good for a beach coverup. Nothing else. Oh the fabric wasn't particularly cool or breezy. Just regular swim fabric.

I bought this dress in black after reading a review about it. The reviewer stated it was great for casual wear but also nice enough to wear as a "little black dress" and I could not agree more. It is very flattering and exceptionally comfortable. Keeping me cool is just a bonus. I have thrown it on so many times that people I see on a regular basis may be wondering why I keep wearing the same thing every time they see me. Lol. Even though I feel like the black color is probably most versatile (as far as dressing it up or down), I will definitely be ordering this dress in additional colors. I normally wear a M/L (size 10/12). I am 5'6" and weigh 150 lbs. I ordered this dress in size large because I did not want it to be too form fitting. Large is perfect for me. Not clingy but also not baggy. If you are on the fence about ordering, just do it. You won't be sorry.
