I was immediately pleased with the quality of the material and color/style. The fit is a little too big for my dog but still works fine and don’t want to hassle with returning. My dog is a mixed Manchester terrier and Pomeranian-17lbs and taller/skinny legs. It’s a couple inches too long and loose around his middle but better than being too small. We live in the PNW so it’s fine for temps in the 30’s. It’s not waterproof though. We walked on a wet day when it stopped raining and the underside was completely soaked and took a whole day to dry out. I rent so don’t have a dryer in my unit otherwise I would have just thrown it in the dryer. So it’s great for a cold dry day.

Yes, could be thicker for MORE warmth but then it would be bulkier and less comfortable. The side Velcro is overkill. There's enough there to stop a freight train! Since the coat doesn't have the strain of a leash, it doesn't have to be that strong. That much Velcro is a little tough to peel apart. The pups love them and never chew on 'em (miracle). So I just never take them off! 😉I get compliments from everyone. I put the harnesses on OVER the coats because the harness always comes off hours before the coats but they fit real well UNDER the coats too (with that smart zipper access hole. Those thin reflector strips are VERY bright! I never give five stars cuz nuthn's perfect; gives them incentive to refine even further!

Searched online and decided to order two of these nice looking dog jackets for their cold and rainy walks and outings. The colors and design were very stylish. Exceptional quality and arrived super quickly. They're thin enough for my two picky pups to wear them but also extremely warm and well made. The first time they wore them was in a light rain and they came home dry and warm. They never wanted to go out in the rain but with these water resistant, warm jackets they now really their walks in the rain and cold now.

FYI, Not a paid review. My little girl puppy loves it! I got a medium so she has room to grow and she loves wearing it, easy to put on and take off, I love the reflective strip on back and it keeps her dry in the rain and warm since she only has 1 layer of fur. Highly recommended!

My dog is not used to wearing clothes, so it will take some getting used to. Haven't used it in rain or snow yet. She is a short haired dog and has been shivering in the cold, so we wanted something for her to wear so she won't be too cold on walks. It fit perfectly and she looks adorable in it!

Nice coat, and our dog likes it. Actually fits the large chest of a standard poodle without being too loose around the neck! With less padding than I expected, I doubt it will be adequate for long walks in the snow. But for most chilly days and shorter walks it should be great.

I can’t believe how well made this coat is! Please be sure to measure your pup and use the sizing chart. My Westie usually takes a medium but this sizing chart said she should take a large. So I purchased the large. It fits her body perfectly. The end of the coat goes just past the top part of her tail. The neck seems to be a little big on her but I’d rather have it too big in the neck and fit her body perfectly. While I’m freezing waiting for her to get done she’s perfectly happy just looking around even with the cold wind blowing. So I’m assuming it must keep her nice and warm. I would absolutely purchase this coat again. It’s well worth the money.

It is a good looking coat! Fits nicely with stretch but it’s not very thick. I wish it was warmer and we live in Texas. Definitely not for cooler regions
