  • Case with Aesthetics and Performance
Style: View 38 XL Color: Snow
Wow what a great case! I am into performance and Aesthetics and this case worked perfectly. I have built systems with all the bells and whistles like removeable trays, doors etc but with this design you do not need these extras. Case was surprisingly roomy and easy to build in. The label "View" is right on. This build replaces my Hyte Y60 but my new GPU would not fit into it with it's 3.7 slot body thus this purchase. If you want to have a great looking case that can house all of your good gear this may be the case for you. ... show more

  • This case is huge!!!
Style: View 51 Color: White
Very large case but I knew this going in. I decided to purchase this over the Lian Li and the Corsair due to the USB type C and the USB 3.0 ports on the front and the ability to use 140mm fans on this case. (Lian Li no fans included and only supports 120mm fans). The corsair does not have the USB -C or the USB 3.0. Overall the case was fairly easy to work on. A few hiccups. 1. The case does not come with a pci-e riser cable you need to also purchase one. The 300mm Thermaltake is plenty long enough. I would recommend staying with the Themaltake riser because there are two screws on the vertical GPU plate that need to be connected to the riser cable and I am not 100% positive that they are universal. 2. Another vertical gpu mount note: It took me a bit to figure out but you can only mount the GPU in the vertical position when the top GPU back cover is removed. When you have the case you will know what this note means. 3. This case is really meant for water cooling and there is ample room for this. I may want to upgrade to water cooling in the future and hence the reason to buy the case. 4. The top and front fan mounting brackets can be repostioned which was a nice plus. I moved my top mounting bracket to a closer position to the glass panel so I was able to put my RGB and fan controllers on top of the case for easier access. 5. As on previous reviews the included RGB controller is solely meant for the included fans and has to be reset for the MOBO to control the RGB. 6. The rear included RGB fan did not have solid sides so I immediately replaced it with a corsair fan. It bothered the hell out of me to look at it. 7. The side mount fans are intake fans. I was originally going to mount my radiator there but, I would be recirculating hot air into the case. 8. I would not have this case on the floor or in any dusty environment. There is a half inch unfiltered gap around all of the glass on the case. 9. No one make white 200mm RGB fans. So you are stuck with the 200mm fans. 10. Very quiet for having 11 fans going. CPU runs 5 degrees cooler then my old Fractal design R4 case. 11. Only 2 slot for SSD HD drives in rear. Came with mounting brackets for the bottom of the case to mount more....but that would look stupid. M.2 Drives are so much better and I don't know who would need more then that. 12. Top of the case has to be jiggled a bit to go into place. 13. Power button does illuminate if you connect it correctly. (I saw a review that complained that it does not illuminate) 14. If you drill into the side you might be able to mount 3 140mm fans, misleading specs on website. 15. Ample room to run RGB lights around glass door, but because case is so big you may need extension cables. 16. This is an ATX case. DO NOT TRY TO USE FOR EATX. 17. This case is all glass so you need to have good cable management in the viewable side but the backside can be a disaster. 18. Make sure that you thoroughly plan out any cables for the bottom of the MOBO because you will need to unmount PSU, GPU and riser cable to make ANY adjustments to these cables. 19. There is very little room behind the PSU to route cables and you will need to unmount PSU to make ANY adjustments. 20. I love this case and would highly recommend to anyone but it is LARGE. • Best PC Case I have ever built in!
Style: View 51 Color: Black
After looking through multiple cases for my new PC I finally decided to go for this Thermaltake View 51 TG Model... It is giant so if you are looking for a mid-tower or something small look elsewhere lol... This has 4mm thick tempered glass on top, in front, & on the left side... All items within it can be rearranged or removed such as I took out the HDD stand and the vertical gpu stand by that was my decision. The PSU gets installed in the rear compartment so u don't see it at all and the wiring can all be organized thru the multiple holes provided with thick rubber grommets. It has provisions to mount fans on top, bottom, & on the side (which either exhausts or intakes air from the right side metal door that has holes built in with filter screens) It has a filter on the bottom as well. It comes with x1 Rear 120mm Thermaltake Pure 12 ARGB fan & x2 Front 200mm Thermaltake Pure 20 ARGB Fans. These 3 fans are pre-wired into a hub device attached to the right side of the case (behind the motherboard area) as u can see in one of my pics I uploaded... Unfortunately this means that you cannot control the RPM speeds of those 3 fans like you can with others you install due to this... The rear i have as exhaust & front as intakes and while they operate at a dedicated speed which isn't Max but isn't slow per say? They both work fine for me due to the extra fans I installed (x3 pack 140mm as exhaust on top, x3 pack 120mm as Intake on bottom, & x3 pack 120mm as exhaust on side thru the Radiator for water cooling) This is why I purchased all other fans and water cooling my cpu with Thermaltake Pure ARGB fans that are the exact same type as the 3 fans pre-installed... IF you wish to have your own setup with full speed control you'd need to replace the provided fans and install what you want (including if you want to upgrade to other Thermaltake brand fans like Riing etc...) I was fine with going this route... I can control all the other fans speed which are more critical and all fans connected Sync together with ARGB using the Gigabyte Motherboard 5v ARGB Ports & Gigabytes software Fusion RGB 2.0... Just a FYI in case you wanted more info about fans and rgb... The case itself is massive and sturdy and all metal... very easy to build in with tons of choices such as you can easily switch the rear slots in the case from horizontal to vertical if you want... I had no issues with this case what so ever and it is on the more expensive side but I think its worth it for the build I did? The only issue I would say is watch out when unscrewing the screws anywhere as they seem to have been installed via machine and may be difficult to remove without pressure from you... some might seem cross-threaded coming out and lining back up however all screws went back in for me no problem... the screw holes are just a little rough at times so remember to push in when backing out a screw with your screwdriver so u don't accidentally strip the end of the screw... As an Auto Tech this wasn't an issue for me but could be for those not use to stingy screws so be aware! It fit all my items as u can see from the pics including the Thermaltake ARGB 360 Water Cooling Assembly I installed on the CPU & on the side of the case that exhausts case air thru the radiator and out the back (right side of case actually) & it all operates perfectly... My case and cpu have yet to idle above 40°C nor reach any temps. Above 70°C "so far" with basic gaming? I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT Processor Installed... Fantastic Airflow & overall terrific Case to build in! ... show more
