I really like these fans in that the blades can be set up as either push or pull and that they connect to the motherboard with a single line that can feed a single fan, all the way up to three at once. When connecting 3 fans in series, the built-in magnetic BGA connections can be a bit finicky to keep connected but just a little adjusting and playing with the connections works. ... show more

When building your rig with these, you'll soon find out that the connection between the magnetic connectors & the fan pins will be quite sensitive. Even the slightest nudge will disconnect it. If you're case has a basement, or a bottom access, be sure to start at the bottom and work you're way up to avoid backtracking. If you're doing a custom water-cooling loop, this will make these fans even less desireable. When you need to drain your loop and you're tilting your PC in all directions to coach the coolant to the drain you will be disconnecting your fans in the process with the shaking and tilting. Before refilling be sure to test that any bottom mounted fans are still fully connected. You don't want to have to flip your heavy PC case when it's full of liquid. Moving onto the RGB now.... In my experience I have a mix of these fans both in the 140mm and 120mm varieties. When linked, I could get power to 3 fans in a chain, however the RGB would only work for the 1st 2 fans in the chain. I have a total of 10 fans in my case and tested that it wasn't a specifically bad fan. It happened regardless of the combination, or order of fans. I ended up having to turn the 3rd fan in each chain, split of off from the chain and give it it's very own magnetic cable connection. This was the only way to get all fans to have working RGB, which defeats the purpose of linking them together to reduce cable clutter. I SHOULD have only had a total of 4 magnetic cables in use, but do to this issue, as well as some PC case design quirks I have 8 magnetic cables in use. I've only saved on the clutter of 2 cables compared to normal, invididually wired fans. They're still beautiful fans for a white, or white/black build and that is still 2 less cables, however... If I could rewind time, I'd probably try the Lian-Li ones with the infinity mirrors on the side edges and failing that, just pick some regular, non-magnetic, white fans with the best lights & aesthetics. NZXT just recently has shown off their interest in building 360mm, 240mm, etc etc fan groupings in single, solid housings (meaning 360mm would be 3 fans in 1 housing/frame and not 3 separate 120mm fans). ... show more

I bought these fans (2 sets of 3) because they have the extra set of reversable blades, which I wanted for a show-piece build. The supporting frame of the fans won't show when using them for intake fans, when you change to the reverse blades. Bottom Line I highly recommend them if you are controlling your fans from the motherboard's PWM and ARGB, and not using the "controller" others' have complained about. I have nothing bad to say about the controller, it is just that I did not need it for my build, since my Z690H motherboard controls and syncs PWM and ARGB for all fans. The fans are well built and solid; they light beautifully and run smoothly; and they are quiet at low to medium speeds. At full speed (my testing) they can be heard, but I cannot imaging needing to ever run them that fast. I also like that the fans swap easily - without tools - between forward and reverse blades. Also, the fans connect to each other magnetically, as well as the cables connecting magnetically. Now to the only minor installation issue. Some others have alluded to it also. If you do not get the magnetic cable connector aligned perfectly to the fan, the pogo pins on the fan don't connect to all the tiny disks on the cable, opposite each pin. My first install, the fans were Dead - no spinning or lights. So, I needed to "wiggle" the connector around to get it aligned. It took me about six tries on one fan, to get the alignment correct, because the magnets are so strong they tend to pull the parts together quicker than the alignment can occur. This is NOT a reason to avoid these fans, I see the strong magnets as a good thing because once you get the alignment correct it isn't going to move. I also had the same mis-alignment with the magnets coupling the 3rd fan to the 2nd, until I simply "wiggled" them to align perfectly. THERMALTAKE should take note, and do a little redesign work so the magnetic connectors work more precisely, else they may get some complaints and returns, from unaware buyers, that the fans just don't work. Bottom line is, I really like these fans and the are my new 1st choice for reverse blade fans. Highly recommended !!! ... show more

The fan directly connected to the power always spins faster than the other fans no matter what you do. seems like a design flaw as its the fan that's reporting it's speed. If you have them in front of a radiator, it will prevent you from getting good temps as they spin about 100-200rpm lower than the fan with direct power. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I get everyone has their own taste. The enjoyment of ARGB and taking out your fans when they get to dusty is amaze balls. They don’t look as esthetic as the Lian li fans or phanteks which was my second option, but the fact you get reversible fan blades and they’re easy to take out makes it so good. The rgb is amazing as well combined with signal RGB. Definitely worth other competitors. These should last you longer as well with the added oil they provide. ... show more

Se notan de buen material, aunque se siente un poco frágil al tacto y la luz se ve bien. La versión ARGB no viene con el hub por lo que debes disponer de un splitter o de puertos suficientes para ventiladores en la board.
