Keep track of specific controller
Size: W7
These are really pretty -- really pretty. I only put the Quad fans in the front initially because I didn't know how nice they would be vs. cost.... now, I will probably replace some of the other Plus fans over time. I can't hear these at all and physical install is super easy. Once you figure out the controller configuration and connections, the software (v2.1) works very well. The only issue is that the controllers and software are very temperamental. I have a lot of Thermaltake parts (fans, water blocks, pumps and temp/flow monitor). As parts arrived, the "controllers" looked identical... they aren't :). Only certain items can be controlled from specific controllers. I haven't identified the exact cause, but two of the controllers stopped working completely (parts still work great, but no matter how / what I connect, they don't get an led signal). I can't get Support to send me (or even let me buy) controllers. I've been approved to "order" them from the technical team, but denied on trying to place a request twice. Still chasing this, but I hope to just be able to buy these outright at some point. The ability to update firmware would add another "star" to my review. Technical Support IS awesome and they respond almost immediately -- they helped identify cause / resolution for some of the controllers. Some controllers would only come up on certain dip switch configurations - but this is all resolved now that I have the right parts on the right controllers, and BIOS / OS options configured to turn off power saver for USB, verify address settings, they recommend the W7 water block be at the front of the controllers, etc. Very few companies have tech support this responsive and knowledgeable about their products. I accept some of the blame here -- keep track of which controllers go with which parts - the controllers look identical, but they definitely have different progressions of firmware and maybe even capacitors based on what they are communicating with. ... show more

Best quality CPU Water Block!
Size: W7
Hands down the best quality and durability on CPU blocks I've used so far. Got a repeat customer right here on my future builds. I did a dual PC, dual seperate loops using the A7 block for both my AMD Ryzen 9 CPU in a Phanteks Luxe Pro 2 case! Highly recommend this CPU block

Thermaltake Pacific W7 Plus - Awesome
Size: W7
I have had many CPU waterblocks, EK, XSPC, Corsair, this one trumps them all. Easy install, fantastic colors, and great temperatures. Extremely happy with this one!

Both water blocks were missing the hardware for AM5
Size: W7
Looked on thermaltake's website for this water block. They state it supports AM5. Found the same part number here on amazon for quicker shipping. Arrives and i notice the instructions dont mention AM5 mounting at all. Couldnt figure it out. Maybe i just got one from an old batch right? So i go direct to thermaltake's website and order another one. Arrives. Same thing. Instructions mention nothing about AM5. Go back onto the website and download the user manual. Then i found AM5 instructions. But! Turns out i need a second set of screws. The instructions say they are silver in a bag labled "R". Go back and look through both kits and there wasnt any supplied. Contacted their customer support. Its been 24 hours and all i got was an automated message saying they received my message. Edit: They got back to me evenutally. Told me id have to submit an rma. At which point i had already looked at the original am5 screws and thought that they looked familar. Turns out they are regular machine screws available at any hardware store. I happen to already have some in the garage. I used them with some copper washers so they looked decorative. Second issue: the controllers dont work properly. All of my controllers i got wont automatically sync with the program on start up. The program just says it couldnt find the controller. In device manager it shows a device that failed to start. I either have to restart many times or disable and enable the device for it to work again. Almost every other start up. When this happens you also lose fan speed control. ... show more

It works.
Size: W7
I decided to upgrade my current waterblock because the cooling fins inside were pretty shallow, only maybe 1mm at most high. It did the job but just wanted better cooling, so when I found out the cooling fins on this were 1.5-2.5mm high, I decided to try I mean....more surface area ='s more heat dissipation, right? So I went to install this and found that I'd have to take everything out of my case...motherboard, GPU, etc just to replace the backplate. Sadly the kit isn't exactly compatible with others despite the threads were the same. The spring screws at max thread weren't really even pushing the waterblock onto the CPU, so I did a little engineering and ended up using the springs off the spring screws with the threaded standoffs and was able to secure it enough to apply a little pressure to get the waterblock to contact the CPU nicely. Then came the software. I don't really care for the fancy LED lights but figured when I saw the option for "temp" lights that I'd set the profile to that so I could see how hot the block was based on the color. Despite telling the software "show on windows startup" I have to manually launch it every single boot-up because it doesn't load with windows. The directions say you can program the profile to the controller....yeah how???? I followed the manual. Its also confusing because the software shows you several controllers which is pointless if you only have one hooked up. It should detect how many and load the appropriate numbers. I mean it plugs into USB. That leads me to my next topic. Make it compatible with more than USB.....like 1394 plugs or something. All my USB headers were taken so something had to get unplugged. A Sata or mini PCI-E or something would be better. I'd even take a COM port plug. I'm not as impressed as I thought I was going to be. I have the ability to make my own waterblocks just didn't feel like dedicating the time, but I guess if I get annoyed enough that's what's going to happen. ... show more

It works but
Size: W7
The cpu water block works very well in keeping the temps cool. My 5800x3d cpu current temps 33 C. However, the RGB failed. The software doesn't work. It should work as a stand alone without the software but...it just doesn't work at all.
