  • This is a case to build a BEAST Gaming machine!
Style: AX71 Color: Black
I needed a large tower for this latest build as I wanted room for my Custom water cooling loop. I found this case to be very easy to run not only the water cooling loop with more than enough room but the cable management is amazing. There are small tray like areas on the back that other cases do not put and they come in handy. Honestly the cables kind of just fell into place making management easy. It is a large case that looks amazing when all RGB things come on. Cooling is nice so far I am running high performance fans on two radiators to get a good flow. I have found that turning around the big fan on the rear of the case to allow it to blow air into the case and then using the top to evacuate hot air is working best for my needs, plus you get a direct airflow over the top of the pc and we all know I7-7700K chips need all the cooling they can get. With water cooling and air flow the system is staying at High 30 to mid 40 during regular use then rarely getting above 65 C under stress that is with a custom water cooling loop with lots of fans. The area under the viewing window is really large and fits all the wiring from the Power supply the power supply and there is room for up to 6 more fans if you should need more cooling underneath or later I can add another radiator down there as well or even two more if they are needed. This has been the best Case for a large build I have every purchased, most cases are too tight or too small to get the things I want done and this thing is made for Beast PC building. If you cannot fit it in this case then you are building something that is giant. It looks amazing as well. Front panel and interface are sleek and easy to plug into motherboard. It is a great case and worth the money. ... show more

  • Huge! But I like it.
Style: AX71 Color: Black
Huge, I have only seen on other case, personally, that's larger, the core x9. Plenty of radiator support for custom loop. Like how the bottom cabinet hides a verity of things from pump, cables and hard drives depending on how you configure. Well packed and no quality issues. Good amount of mounting hardware is included along with fan extension cables that I believe or for doing a 7 volt fan mod. Came with two 140mm blue ring fans, that I did not use. I cannot give any information about quality, but TT's fan are decent. I needed 120mm fans for my radiators. I had two 360mm one mounted from the other mounted top. One small issue is the raised rips on the front fan support bracket. A slightly longer screw may be needed if you sandwiching the bracket between the fan and radiator. Plenty of breathable area on the front cover to allow fans to flow on a front mount cooler if using longer screws. All in all probably to large for most builds but it is spacious and fun to build in with a large verity of options for liquid cooling and cable management. May only support up to three 3.5" hard drives unless adapter are used or if custom more brackets. There is two spots for 2.5" behind the Mobo try. Spaces for hard drives is not an issue for me. Take a look before you buy. It is fun to build in, but way lager then what most people need. I knew this going into it. If your looking for an alternative to a core x9 this may work. If you have a standard ATX board and looking to do an AIO or heatsink, I would suggest to look at smaller less expensive case's. ... show more

  • Tall, Dark, and Spacious
Style: AX71 Color: Black
X71 is a very spacious, tall, heavy duty case. My only complaints with the case is that it is somewhat awkward to carry around and has a 90 degree mounted PSU configuration. Neither of these things will matter as long as you are careful picking parts and do not expect to be able to take this thing with you every where you go. As I said please note that this case has what I would call a non-standard power supply mounting position coupled with a solid integrated metal plate (which does have holes for cables) between the power supply compartment and the main compartment where you will place the motherboard. Perhaps it is more common lately to have 90 degree mounted PSU, but either way, be absolutely sure that you are purchasing a power supply that DOES NOT have component power cables that come out on the sides, they must plug into and come out of the back of the power supply. Because the power supply is mounted at a 90 degree angle you should be careful to mount the power supply in a configuration where the fan is not touching the bottom or the side of the case. Because of the tower's height, you may need to use a CPU power extension cable, I did with an ATX form factor motherboard. I installed a 7900 XTX graphics card (which is very large and heavy!) in this case, with plenty of space (4" or more) left over both horizontally and vertically, so it should have plenty of room to access, install, and remove all components. ... show more
